I can see what you mean from a mentality standpoint. Barnett will never be 6'6 290 though. He's not going to be able to enjoy the type of size and arm length advantage of someone like Watt.

From a build standpoint, he's got more of a Dee Ford/Melvin Ingram build. He might be a bit taller than those guys, though. It's hard to tell just how tall a guy is until they get to the combine.

The best pro comparison for Barnett is Panthers DE Charles Johnson. Similar size and build.

How do you see getting there "much" more difficult?

A great recruiting class this year as expected and we are in the top mix for a while.

you don't see Uga getting better in 2017? And Florida can probly get a little better or a little worse. Muschamps team could be a pain for us, maybe not the whole conference, but he seems to have a vendetta for us. Match those with losing Dobbs, cam, jrm, Kamara, Coleman, a few OL, and maybe Hurd, Barnett, Malone, wolf, Kelly, kongbo, and possibly others. I'd say we will be much less proven. Experience is a huge facet of college football. Just being realistic.

Hey flowd, thanks for posting player name/state/position with the tweet in the tweets thread. Makes it clear who the tweet is from.

AJ and MW have a nice lawsuit if the social media after the incident proves she was not raped?

I wonder if a NFL team will pick up AJ, if he's cleared. Hope he gets a chance, if he's innocent, because this has cost him millions.

How is offseason training going and didnthey ever get the field issue resolved

Hubbs was on the zone a few weeks ago and it wasn't encouraging on the field. Waiting to resod, have been researching, no answers yet, etc. Bruin's right. Very disappointed no staff changes have been made there.

I'm not really sure he's built to blow up the underwear olympics.

I bet this guy blows up the underwear olympics :)

I read an article on ESPN yesterday about college football last leap day compared to now and the types of changes we can expect to see by the next leap day.

Rules regarding staff sizes like this was one of the things mentioned. It does seem like it's gotten a little out of hand recently. Would be nice to see some outlines for exactly how far schools are willing to go.

At this point I don't think there is any limit whatsoever to how many non coaching staff members can be hired. That is silly IMO.

I would assume we will see a number of 5star handlers start to get these consulting jobs soon if something doesn't change

Just got the text that Alexis Johnson plead not guilty this morning. Thought the case had been dropped?

Thought so too but she may be keeping it open for that other lawsuit. She is trying to get in on some of that money and immediately dropping charges likely wouldn't have looked good

Haven't followed this situation closely but doesn't the State have option to pick up case even if accuser didn't press charges bc of type of crime? I know assualt and sex crimes are that way in Florida.
