CIS studies all immigration. Yet they've never written a single piece about the positives of immigration. I'm not changing the topic. I'll telling you your source is ****
Straight off the CIS website...
Immigration increases the overall size of the U.S. economy. Of this there is no question. In 2009 immigrants accounted for 15 percent of all workers. More workers and more people mean a bigger GDP. Immigrants are 15 percent of U.S. workers. They likely account for about 10 percent of GDP or more than a trillion dollars annually.

They are not saying immigrants do not provide any benefits to the U.S., but they have questioned what those net benefits are, which would be a proper analysis. And yes I've read some of the liberal views on the CIS studies and none have refuted their data, they have simply disagreed on how some things are measured.
Here's an example for you...
If two illegals have a child in the U.S. then that child is considered a natural born citizen. As a natural born citizen that child is now entitled to various government benefits (including SNAP). Do you agree or disagree that the two parents (who are illegal immigrants) are benefiting from the SNAP program or not? If you somehow claim NO, then again I would sincerely question your ability to apply reason. If you admit that YES they also benefit, then you've proven your previous argument wrong that illegal immigrants do not benefit from government programs like SNAP.
