Well your thinking is dead ass wrong

Good day sir

With all due respect, your post count does go up when controversy strikes. I didn't check for about 5 hours yesterday and I had missed 5 pages in this thread at 50 ppg. I thought Butch had been fired. Nope, just bantering back and forth with all types of conjecture from yourself.

Sure the post count goes up when something negative happens this time of year.

I would love to talk just football but the only thing I have to say about that is

Dobbs under center in 16. I would love to come in here and that's all there was to discuss

John Bobbitt?

😂…😀…😐…😳…😖

Someone answer me this… With all of these supposed sexual assault cases, why has only one of them pressed charges and made it to court? On top of that, if something really happened but the girl didn't want to go through the legal process, then I have a hard time believing that Butch would still re-instate the player to the team. He dismissed Paulk, although charges were never pressed...certainly makes you think something still happened but the girl didn't want to press charges. I think Butch is a stand-up guy with kids of his own...I have a hard time believing he would re-instate a player that raped a girl, no matter if she wants to press charges or not.

Here's another thought...what if Bowles found out the truth after he encouraged the girl to go to the police about being raped...what if he thought AJ was involved, but found out later on that AJ was involved consensually? Maybe that's why he flashed AJ's number at the bowl game in support of him. Going back to my original point of only one case making it to court...I'm thinking Williams may have raped the girl and AJ got dragged into this unnecessarily.

I personally think that fact kills the entire suit. If there are zero convictions from a police department that not only has more resources but proper training and the power to serve warrants, how can the university, who doesn't have those benefits and is forced to look at this, supposed to discover enough to take action that the police elected not to based on the evidence at hand. What arguments can realistically be made to expell a student who wasn't convicted or arraigned for charges? There is none if you follow the basic principals of life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. If you don't follow those principals, get out of this country. Morons argue against innocent before proven guilty. These plaintiffs are morons

Lol

I am going to discuss anything of note that effects tenn athletics good or bad. Whatever the hell that proves

I think it has more to do with you always assume the worst case scenario. If you would look at the possible more positive outcomes you wouldn't catch as much grief IMO.

That will probably be a very similar list to the list of future Civil Suits then.

hmmmmmm......just occurred to me.

Rappers.......Rapers.....coincidence? Music is the root of all evil.

Honestly i often discuss the worst case scenario but that doesn't mean I assume that is the case. Just like yesterday most here thought I was attacking maggitts character.
I have seen enough lockerroom fights in my life to brush that off and not think twice about it. I was just discussion what could come such a situation

If the university does end up settling, how can it protect itself from future lawsuits? Or does settling basically open up Pandora's Box for future litigation?

There will certainly be more accusations of sexual assault in the future. Especially with a precedent established where claims with flimsy/non-existent evidence can still result in big paydays from the university.

Ok

Bruin, I have you on ignore because I got tired of the incessant nature of your argumentative posts (I know, you don't care) but I wind up seeing most of them anyway because people fall into your trap and argue back and forth with you. Which is what you want. So you wind up getting quoted and I have to weed through it.

I noted all of that to say this........ If pretty much EVERYONE else is saying the same thing about you, what do you think are the odds that EVERYONE else is wrong, and you are right??

Same reason everyone wanted him gone last time. Then he made the ban bet with himself. Then he slowly worked his way back into the forum. During the time that he banned himself, the few posts he would make here and there were ok, but when hes back in full force, its intolerable.

This is all about $$$. Clay Travis had a really great explanation for us non lawyers about criminal vs civil yesterday. He said criminal has to have 99.8% no reasonable doubt. Civil is more like 51%. You only have to prove that something could have possibly happened and not that it actually did happen.Im sure that is why most people settle. He said plaintiffs lawyers in civil suits are only after $$$. They only get paid if it settles or they win case. So they throw as much crap at the wall to scare the other side into settling.
