A series of tweets released today from a HS kid (& huge Tennessee fan) that is a cancer patient. Butch Jones invited him to spend time with the team. "Fans" should take into consideration the good/positive done by UT's coaches & players collectively before labeling the entire group over a few ALLEGED negative incidents by a few alleged perpetrators. JMO.

Noah Hays@nono51199:
These guys are great. There is no culture problem.

Noah Hays@nono51199:
They held a prayer for me and each and every player and coach came up to me and told me they were praying for me.

Noah Hays@nono51199:
At the end of the game they brought me in to the locker room without notice and we had a dance party. One of the best times of my life.

Noah Hays@nono51199:
Butch Jones came up to me after and said he loved me and if I needed anything to call him whenever with no hesitation.

Noah Hays@nono51199:
I'm going back for the spring game and going to be there for my college years and I am thankful for all the men on the team who helped me.

Noah Hays@nono51199:
Through this process of chemo. They check up on me and are all very supportive. They are my friends and will be for my life.

Noah Hays@nono51199:
Also, during the game I got to go on the field and play catch with the players before the game and all the guys made sure they came up and

Noah Hays@nono51199:
Made sure they gave me a hug and asked how I was doing

Noah Hays@nono51199 :
But the media won't see this and realize how really great the true men of Tennessee football are and that really saddens me.

Noah Hays@nono51199 :
Oh also forgot @ToddKellyJr6 brought me in to there team dinner and we had a great time hanging in the hotel and at prayer service they had.

Noah Hays‏@nono51199:
And Butch wears my bracelet and so did @ToddKellyJr6 during the game I was at.

Noah Hays‏@nono51199:
Sorry for my little rant. It's over now. Just wanted to show how great these guys are and that it isn't a culture problem.
Go Vols and GBO

Mega dittos. I think this will bring this team together to fight like hell this fall for Coach Jones and each other. It's time for a Volnation surge of public support. :clapping:

We are a University fan base known for petitions. We should make it known that we support our Coaches, Players, and Administration.

This is trial by media. It's people with an agenda making unsubstantiated allegations that irresponsible media are reporting as fact to a gullible public rushing to judgment.

Where's the proof?
(Cue Clara Peller meme)

Police reports in Johnson/Williams case were taken in the early morning hours after the party. Accuser was escorted to UT Med Center for exam/rape kit.

Love Marlon Walls passion. But doesn't Maggitt admitting that he assaulted Bowles go against Walls' statement on Finebaum this afternoon? Or did he really not admit that he assaulted Bowles and I'm confused because of Bruin!?

It's a civil suit I could say you raped me and that you admitted to me and make up everything under the sun. Especially if I never had intentions of taking it to court. Similar to Naughright stuff. She threw a bunch of false **** out there and said look these didn't happen but people will think they did. Pay me to shut me up

Which was before any altercation took place between Bowles and maggitt

The question is when did the police interview maggitt?

Guys, please don't start this same argument with Bruin again.

It's the same thing over and over again and this place is finally starting to clear up this evening.

The main question is can a civil lawyer say a police report says something it didn't say?

Perhaps our judge friend can tell us if a lawyer can flat out lie about a police report in an affidavit?

I don't have a timeline. But I have read the incident reports and have seen witness video. Bowles' credibility will be impeached.

To clarify: incident reports for Jane Doe IV. IDK anything about what happened afterward between Bowles and players/coaches.

Hope you are correct

Where do you get your certainty from?

Worked one last Saturday. Suspect in custody by the end of my shift and report was done the next day.

I'm not over simplifying it by saying this is always how it happens because I'm sure it's not but, the report is done ASAP.

You worked a raped case or a lockerroom fight?

Huge difference in when a report was done if any

Misunderstood your post.

Rape case.

Nevertheless, the timeline for a report doesn't change, regardless of where it happened. You do it as soon as you have the Who, What, When, Where, Why, and How...or at least as much info as can be gathered.

The fact that Drae went to the Bowl game says it all for me

Agreed

My point is Bowles was already interviewed and then the incidents happened

We don't know when police went back and followed up with other interviews

Likewise

Initial Interviews on the rape happened before the incidents with Bowles

Just curious how you know when the follow up interviews were done by the police and are so certain of that timing?

I'm not talking about any particular case. I'm talking about basic police work. It's pretty consistent across the board, especially in felonious offenses.
