It's unfortunate that you see yourself in such a way that you can make determinations about people's character from the distance you are. He may or may not have hit that guy but he deserves the benefit of the doubt until he has proven he has.

Dear Lord are ignoring the police report?

You still think lawyers can lie about police reports in documents?

Did you ignore the other poster telling you were wrong about civil cases?

This has nothing to do with what I think about 56 character. Punching someone in the heat of the moment doesn't make a person have bad character IMO

Yes I am ignoring a police report that can not be found. One that doesn't exist yet. It may exist but not yet.

You have not read the lawsuit. You have no idea what is in the lawsuit. No one has read it except the people involved.

Civil cases do not have to have evidence to move forward. This is from the article that poster posted. (3) the allegations and other factual contentions have evidentiary support or, if specifically so identified, are likely to have evidentiary support after a reasonable opportunity for further investigation

I am not saying anyone is innocent or that someone is guilty. It's reckless to go through out life making absolute decisions with incomplete information.

The police report exist it's just not been made public

For our lawyer friends:

Would the lawyers in this lawsuit have access to that report?

Old school reference, but I get the feeling that Drae has a Eddie Haskell type personality. Mr good guy persona publically, but those close to him probably know him as a weasel. I know that's possible character assassination on my part, but going back to the AJ incident, I have had that feeling that he is a type of guy that undermines his "friends" if it helps him get what he wants. We've all known that type of guy, and recent info makes me think I'm right.

This is where the law isn't on our side

Law states if a Student is assaults reports and protocol have to be followed

I know lockerroom things happen and that seems stupid to report something like this but this isn't a normal case. Unless jones reported this to school officials he is in hot water here for sure

What is your side Bruin? Serious question. It sure doesn't seem you care much for UT.

Bruin is in his element, laws and rules and conjecture. Like a hog wallowing around in slop.

Bruin FTR I like you and would ever block you because you're not hateful. No offense.
Carry on...

Do ya'll not get that this is what Bruin lives for? He has 10 different people arguing and responding to his made up BS scenarios. He can make up different crap forever to counter any point, logical or otherwise. The only way to defeat him is not to engage.

In cases like this I am on the side of the truth.

That's the only way to be in matters of sexual violence

I'm not buying it.

You're making some awfully big assumptions based on the small amount of information leaked to the public. And all those assumptions work against our coaches, players, and administration.

I know one thing

The lawsuit says 56 admitted to police he assaulted Bowles

I 100% believe an assault took place

One man's assault is another man's scuffle. I expect there were words exchanged and probably punches were thrown. I expect there was a fight. Is the loser of a fight always the one that was assaulted?

That's funny Because last night I was the one downplaying jones calling the kid a traitor.

I don't think that's a big deal at all really while others on this board were the opposite

I call them like I see them. Good or bad

FTR Bowles affidavit claims both men (CM and DB) threw punches.

Of course Hart is up there talking about the great culture at UT. Why even say that? It's only going to be used against him and the university. It looks like hot air to anyone in the media and anyone who isn't a UT fan.
