Lol Cam did it to himself. Prancing around after ever first down and his look at me attitude. People don't like that, especially out of a QB.

He isn't a thug, classless, or a bum, but he is immature. An NFL veteran acting like a college freshman. A 26 year old acting like a 16 year old.

Man they are paid to entertain. No one wants to watch boring players. Say what you want. I see it as fun not as an attention whore. Hilarious how Aaron Rodgers was the discount double check king a few years back and no one said a thing. Hmmmm.......

Ya the media is a joke. I'm a fan of the Marshawn Lynch approach with those clowns.

The whole "throw 100 cameras in front of the losing team" is a joke but that's they way it is, unfortunately. Handling it is part of being the leader of your team.

He's actually made some valid arguments. You just have refused to hear him out...

I've continuously said Cam was wrong but trying to make it seem like that weak sauce phone call apology Peyton did is fine is flat ridiculous. You're a man walk over there face to face and make it happen. Don't walk off the field and phone back like all is good with some excuse. That's your peer have enough respect for him to walk up on him and look him in the eye.

Lol, I've been following the thread all day. So yeah, I've "heard him out".

Games are won and lost ON THE FIELD not in press conferences. Peyton and Cam went to war, Cam admitted defeat and shook Peyton's hand like a man. BB is saying Peyton did not give that same respect to Drew Brees that he deserved. Now Cam walked out on a Press Conference, did it look good? No it did not, but what does he owe the media? He doesn't owe them anything! He should not have walked out very true. But to say walking out on the media and walking out of a handshake are the same, then that's your opinion. But to me (all bias aside, I grew up idolizing Peyton) BB is right, Peyton was worse to walk out on a handshake than a presser.

Yeah, this man is clearly not an attention whore.

Why are you so angry?

It's going to be alright. Cam will be dabbing in no time.

I'm actually not mad but to call the man out and our own has done the same at one time is crazy. Don't have a double standard be straight up about it all is what I want. Wrong is wrong be it Manning or Newton.

Man is an emotional player. How would you act losing the biggest game of your career? Dude doesn't lose big games. Like I said he'll learn from this new experience.

Russell Wilson threw the interception to lose the game and handled it like a man in last year's game. Cam is a phenomenal player and I like to watch him play. I like the celebrations he does. He just has to understand when you want the spotlight you will have it when it isn't going your way just the same, and to handle it better. But, he will.

Kinda off the field clothes soooooo what does this have to do with him on the field. He wears a team skull cap to the presser and was labeled a thug. So what should he wear? I'll wait.......

Yeah you're on your own on this... Cam's wardrobe in the words of Shaq is "Horawful" horrible and awful. But it's just like people calling Bryce Harper a punk for his haircut. People are gonna talk

Reactions to negatives have a lot to do with how one handles themselves during the positive.

Cam needs to learn how to take a loss like a man and a professional.

Most of the people who don't like him do so because he dances and has fun. They disliked him long before he acted like a child yesterday, he just gave them more fuel for the fire.

Don't know why you seem to be taking this personally. If Cam is going to dish it out then he is going to have take it. He isn't the first player to be hated on and will not be the last.

I've never seen anyone call a player a thug for wearing a skull cap. They would be pretty damn dumb and have no idea what thug means if they did.

I believe there's a lot of inequity between how black (people) football players and white (people) football players a treated. If it's not Cam's celebrations, it's Sherman's interview after the game. If it's not that interview, it's Marshawn Lynch's "I'm just here so I don't get fined."

I don't think, at least I hope, that white people (full disclosure: I'm white) don't do this sort of thing maliciously. I hope that we're just sort of culturally out-of-touch.

All of that being said Cam did a lot of damage to his own reputation last night on the fumble. Everything else doesn't matter.

See that I do not believe that! Johnny Manziel was being raked on the coals in college before he won the heisman for his celebrations and what not (he deserves it now). Bryce Harper has done nothing wrong at all. No steroids, no domestic abuse, no DUI, no criminal record but he gets bashed for everything he does and gets called a punk constantly. If you are good at what you do, there will be haters regardless of skin tone. Social media is to blame.

Well that and athletes have pretty bad PR skills
