Gun control debate (merged)

What pistol did you buy?

Personally I'll use a milt sparks summer special most days.

Summer Special | Milt Sparks Holsters

I'll use this for carrying a glock 26 on my ankle.

I also like these in an outside the waistband holster option.

Phantom Modular Holster for Glock Pistols - Raven Concealment Systems

I believe GV uses one like the above, only, his is hot pink. Lol

It's all about finding the right holster for you. Most of us have a box full of holsters we've tried over the years. I've personally always came back to milt sparks. The wait time sucks, but, the quality is tremendous.

I haven't decided yet, but I'm leaning toward the Glock 26. I'm going with a friend to shoot several of his guns. I shot a Bersa Thunder .380 and liked it, but it's actually a little bigger than the Glock. For the price it felt like a sweet little gun, but due to the size of it I think a 9mm makes more sense.

Even though it's not much, it's still a lol occasion.

Obama and other gun control advocates own stock in firearms makers - AOL

Barack Obama might seem an unlikely investor in the firearms industry. But the U.S. president, a fierce advocate for gun regulation, has money in a pension fund that holds stock in gun and ammunition companies.

The president is among millions of Americans buying into gun companies - often unwittingly - as mutual funds have increased such holdings to record levels, according to a Reuters analysis of institutional investment in firearms companies.

How about you stop looking for leaders and live your own life instead.

Impossible for most people on here, Defend. They are part of the sheep herder mentality who believe that the Republican Party somehow represents their interests despite the fact that if you make less than $100k a year you are much better off voting democrat. GOP has done a great job convincing/brain-washing people who are lower middle-class and middle middle-class that they are upper middle or upper class.

Voting democrat keeps people from making over 100 grand a year.

Surely you can see the obvious defect in that kind of thinking? One party is bad, vote for the other party. Then vice versa, nothing changes, ever.
The obvious problem is the political system itself. As I said in the post you originally quoted, stop looking for leaders, and live your own life.

Boys, boys. I think we can compromise.

Any uninvited animal I find in my house at 3am.

You'll find it rather hard to defend yourself.

I got what CNC was getting at and let it slide. But some people that just don't know guns or ammo had to bring the whole "hunting" thing into it.

You know, the firearms debates would actually go a lot smoother if both sides knew WTF they were talking about. Sadly, the anti-gunners don't have the first clue about the subject except for the word "BAN!" they like to screech every chance they get.

True. I was actually pointing that out to bn because it is blatantly obvious that he is scared to death of guns and big scary bullets. I prefer the scatter gun in my bedroom over something that has to be more accurately aimed anyway.

Good idea. You'll need those when Obama turns us into a Muslim State (blue font).
I am actually more concerned about crack addicts than mooslims, but it's nice of you to show us that part of your paranoia as well.

Nice find. Although you and I both know it will be well over the heads of those looking to make all firearms illegal.

I feel like it's our responsibility to inform the uninformed. The battle rages on unfortunately....

I think most people who would prefer the knee jerk reaction of just "ban all guns" haven't the slightest clue of how guns actually work. It's surprising the number of folks I see, ages 18-35 that haven't even fired a firearm. We're about the same age, I grew up with guns, they're tools.
The world has changed tremendously since we were 21. Our battle is on the education front. I think you do a fine job on the legislation and Supreme Court stuff. I come at it from a moral perspective. Either way, we make a difference with everyone we reach. I've taken people who absolutely hated guns shooting and now they're gun guys. Once they get past the mental block that no one will be there to help them, all the rest just falls into place. Plus, shooting is fun and challenging.

Actually, it's the opposite. I have found that most people who like to brag about the number of guns they own are generally very insecure people and are making up for many of their other inadequacies. Do you people really walk down the road everyday so scared to death of what might happen to you that you feel the need to tote a firearm? If so, I feel sorry for you.

One thing I'd love to know. Who made self defense with guns a partisan issue? Last time I checked, the robber don't care if you're a republican, democrat, or even an anarchist.
