I remember getting a letter from Samford my senior year. I first saw it I thought it was Stanford, was thinking about the recruiting trip. Then I saw it was Samford and I filed it in the trash. Wish I would have kept all the recruiting letters. Back in the 80's you still got hand written letters from some of your recruiters.

Agreed. Good post. I have become super anti-ESPN when it comes to any type of analysis or sports dialogue. They're basically Fox News. And that's probably going to make somebody mad that I said that. But both channels create and dwell on drama and odd story angles that ask you to turn you brain off and let them tell you what to think and which parts to focus on (Quarterbacks! Gay marriage! Immigrants!! Rah rah!). It distracts from the thoughtful potential conversations that could be taking place. But those types of conversations don't drive ratings. Which is a damn shame. It's all a big distraction to drive their agenda and make their wallets fat. And Americans are lopping it up like puppies.

Add CNN, Al-Jazeera, etc.,etc. to that too.
Not one news outlet just reports the news anymore...they have to spin it until it fits their point of view and you are just supposed to sheep along with their drivel...

If we can take 4 I would add Moss. Brown is a coin flip but historically these haven't gone our way on NSD between us an auburn. Still though you have to like our position with him after this weekend.

Not much real info is getting out. Take most everything you hear as inside info with a grain of salt.
Would bet money we end up with the 3-4 mentioned above.


Some of this is filling in the blanks from some decent info but mostly it is speculation so TIFWIW

I would give to Dickerson over Moss, and go after 2 stud Rb next year imo. Just curious why you would choose Moss and if not get Dickerson, is it because of who Tn is recruiting for 2017?

Very good to great finish then if it happens. Going from Brown to Moss as a back up option is rough, but if Young is indeed out it would at least help at RB.
