Depends on how fast they determine (if any) penalties. They take their time with us...they might fast track the Rebels. He most likely redshirts behind Kelly next season. Would have to be real severe to go past two years.

I'd be shocked if the penalties go as far as scholarship losses or post season ban. The real loss will be the tighter scrutiny preventing them from cheating quite as much as they have been.

Wheres the poster who called this a week or so ago? Swear someone on here posted that they knew someone in the compliance office at Miss St and they said it would happen before NSD.

In before the final weekend and before the dead period so other coaches can get in commits ears. Love it.

Y'all seen the artists rendering of the giant scoreboard/screen they'll have set up at Bristol? I don't know about y'all, but there isn't an engineer in this world I trust enough to play under that thing, dangling in mid-air with harnesses on each corner of it, without fearing for my life the whole time!

I may not be ripped up, but I feel like I could tear through a wall if need be after mixing it in a lot over the last several months.

One problem for Ole Miss is that a number of their recruits talk about the recruiting process going on down there. They take their wad of hundred dollar bills and show them off when they return to their school. Especially the JUCO guys. One of them had his money stolen at his JUCO when he returned :}:}:}. Some guys are just plain ole dumb.

Not to rain on the possible dip for Ole MIss right before NSD but does anyone really expect this to amount to anything? I mean look at UNC. Have they ever had a punsihment? Hell they played for the ACC Championship this year. Purposely disclosed new violations to push out the investigation further. LOL. That was for a team that has hey confirmed cheating going on. At best I would think this slows Ole Miss down some but that's it.

Ok, lets say all this goes back to Nutt.

If any school should know how bad it is to have the NCAA on campus for any reason (while simultaneously not being named Alabama, North Carolina, or Kentucky basketball)... It's Tennessee.

They're fools to just blow it aside.

This is why you cooperate with the NCAA if they are investigating you. If you don't they will roll you right under the greyhound bus. I'd bet there are a few things on Freeze. Key word from Ole Miss side is Most of them are from previous staff. That leaves open that there are some things on Freezes staff too. We known Tunsil stuff which was pretty big and it wouldn't suprise me if NCAA snooped around some more. Ole Miss been providing cars for years from one of the boosters car lots. They gave my buddy one when he played there

Yeah I don't really expect much long term stuff to come from this. But I am all for it making recruits think twice before jumping on board. That sounds like it would be a big possibility.
