We are about to find out just how good Butch and the gang are at recruiting. I have 100% confidence in them, but this one has an Ole Miss stench to it.

UT losing out on Kongbo to Ole Miss would not really be a testament to the recruiting ability of CBJ or the other coaches. It is obvious Ole Miss gets recruits using 'creative' measures that cross a line. Losing out on a recruit because another team cheated is not really a black eye on our staff's ability.

We have a pretty good sample size to judge Butch and company's recruiting abilities. And the fact is they're damn good at it.

He has an OV to Ole Miss before he came to Tennessee and he didn't commit on the spot like he did with us.

Only way we lose him to Ole Miss is if he gets a Cam Newton special.

I know. I guess I meant to say that I believe they are elite recruiters, so I'm really interested to see if they can overcome something like this from a school with a history of shadiness.

Is it confirmed that Butch and co are going to canada tonight for an in home? Can't wait for Ole Miss to get busted but if he ends up at Ole Miss so out of the blue that's quite telling$$ Maybe Butch can turn Hugh in a la Fulmer with Bama.

Agreed. They have not won the SEC in the modern era. The last one in 61' I think. There is no way in hell OLE friggin' Miss is just doing "what everyone does".

If we lost this one but still got Warrior, Brown, and Byrd I'd be ok. Prefer actually because Freshman over Juco. I think we just really want the pretty shiny object and forget this guy is a short term deal. Non EE, one and done maybe. Want him yes but not as big of a deal to me as the 3-4 year guys.
