Who is Lamont Wade??? I looked for his thread and didn't see it but BR has something posted asking if Shoop can help sway him

Using just college is a silly debate because there are boobs like Jason white, like tebow and like Vince young who are in those conversations.

System QB...if he was that great in college, then he should have been at least decent in NFL, which he wasn't.

Hate to derail the thread but the weather here this weekend appears to be perfect for hosting recruits. Sunny and highs of around 60 both Saturday and Sunday.

I am too...if his game was that good, then it should have translated to the next level. He's a system QB. I think Tebow is too. Cam is showing that he has developed his game as a pure QB. He could fit into different systems and be successful, as can Peyton. JMOTIFWIWI'MGOINGTODISNEY

Agreed. If you base it off Championships and winning the Heisman. But as far as just a pure QB as a pro and collegiate then Peyton is one of the best all time. The knock on Peyton ,even going back to college is he has choked on big stage games. Hopefully he can quiten all those critics and win another SB. Unfortunately he struggled against UF and couldn't beat them,never got to a NC game and was on teams with NC type talent. He Is 1-2 in SB's but struggled in several playoff games that could have gotten him to more Super Bowls. To me Peyton is the greatest QB of all time.

Every QB 's results are based on the system they play in, I never liked that argument, especially when dealing with college QB's. We could say the same for Tom Brady.

Arguing the greatest this or that is fine. It's sports talk. That said, it's about as productive as trying to convince each other which color is the best.

Personally, I've always been fond of using the color that fits the occasion without need of a favorite. Obviously, football players are like that as well. It's pretty darn hard to come up with the best overall. Somebody else will just adjust the metrics of the argument a bit to favor their guy.

Stud '17 CB/Ath I think.

I had seen something where he had enough credits to jump into this class if he wanted to but not sure if that happened.
