I like that they play hard, but to be honest 10-10 and sub .500 in the league is pretty much exactly what I expected.

I'm not necessarily talking about the record. I had resigned myself to it being disappointing record. I'm more referring to their competiveness.

I'll say this, this team is performing beyond my expectations so far this year. I can only recall one game they haven't really been in it. Once Barnes gets the roster fixed, I think the Vols are going to be good.

Yep. With a little time, Barnes will get it done. Games like tonight's are frustrating, but the team hangs in.

Yeah I'm with you. They've hung around in most games, but they've really blown a few of them too. It is what it is.

Butch would have to really screw up Brown's last visit to not land him. Or Auburn would have to pay him some serious cash. That atmosphere on campus this weekend is going to be too much for him to resist IMO.

No, it's called going cold. It happens. They got good shots just couldn't knock them down. If you knew much about the game, it was lost on the defensive end. We let them get to the hoop way to easily and because of their size we let them have several offensive rebounds.

I could see Brown going either way. The kid has played it close to the vest and publicly said not to trust anything that isn't coming from him or his parents.

Truth is, very few people know exactly what he's thinking right now. Either outcome wouldn't surprise me.

Ehh, our shot selection was horrible actually. Mostly really bad jump shots and no offensive sets at all. No attempt to attack the basket.

8 minutes though... regardless, it was pretty bad the last 10 minutes of the game, so we'll just agree to disagree. But as I said, with some bigger guys to help gaurd the rim we will get better.

Jump shots are our game. Most of our jump shots were open. We hit them early. Every time we went the hoop we got blocked or mauled and they weren't calling them.

Warrior, Byrd, Brown and possibly Bailey, if he doesn't get tired of waiting and commit to VT with his brother. IDT Stewart enrolls.

I agree with may other posters here when they say that they think a lot of this will be sorted out once we get some more size in the rotation.
