For once I agree with you.
Also if you look back at his championship rosters it's not like they were the 2001 Miami Hurricanes in terms of nfl talent. LSU and Georgia have produced more high caliber NFL players.
Saban just finds a way of getting it done. Can't deny his greatness.
Seems flaky to me. Doesn't make him a bad person at all.
I think most would at least agree his recruitment has been odd.
Jeeze. Getting a bit ridiculous with this kid isn't it? If he's such a freak, how did he go damn near unnoticed out of hs. Or end up red shirting at a school with very little talent.

Derrick Henry just won the Heisman Trophy and was a HUGE part of Saban's team winning the national championship.
I'm pretty sure the real difference here is Shoop. Shoop is pin your ears back relentless pursuit of the qb, whose unit had the 2nd most sacks in the country this year. That is more than likely the difference for a defensive end.
