Not all players make immediate impacts. I expected Vereen to be a good player for us. He was highly touted in Butch's first (year 0) class. It looks like his bulb turned on in the Bama game and he kicked @ss for us the rest the year! He will be an impact player next year and I think he'll quietly find himself in the league ala Malik Jackson.

He had an above average freshman year. Maggitt moving to full time DE and Barnett being Barnett hid him somewhat, but he's been good any time he's gotten snaps.
