Periscope is a social media app used by millions of people including news outlets & sports teams. The players were actually told by the coaching staff to get onto Periscope to broadcast for fans. The coaches are also on it. Cmon man, embrace technology it's not 1982 anymore (sadly).

Not criticizing you, but there is a thread parallel to this one basically telling people "middle aged and up" that they should stay the h+++ off of all social media. It's great when we have so much help with figuring out how to live our lives.

I personally don't need the news media or a thread on a forum to tell me what to think, how i should think, or what I need to do as long as it's within the parameters of the law. The lord blessed me with a brain and a hell of a lot of common sense so I can make my own informed decisions. Not criticizing you either but it takes a very weak mind to do or not do something because others "think" you should or shouldn't.

^This. I think the football staff at his HS didn't get their mitts on him until the summer before his senior year.

Correct. This is excerpted from his 247 Sports profile (247Sports "2014: Redshirted his freshman season at the University of Wyoming prior to transferring to Arizona Western in the summer of 2015.

High School: Competing for Holy Cross in Surrey, B.C., he began playing football as a senior and was a standout in six games with the varsity. He helped the Crusaders qualify for the Class AA playoffs and when the season ended with a loss to John Barsby, he was selected as a First Team Provincial All-Star."

Periscope is a live feed broadcast to your Twitter followers.

It's like FaceTime except only they can see you. You can't see them. And you can live tweet at the broadcaster and they see it on the screen and answer the questions. It's pretty cool. NashWx Twitter was killing it during the snowstorm.

I have a question. Why did he redshirt at Wyoming? I could understand bama, lsu, or tosu., but Wyoming. I can't believe they had that deep a def. end rotation. I even question why out of high school he ended up at Wyoming? just weird all around to me.

Totally agree. We don't know what this kid is today. But we know he wasn't much couple of years ago. Sometimes recruiting becomes a popularity contest. Once one school offers, they all come rolling in. If we get him, I hope he pans out and delivers. But if we don't get him we shouldn't lose any sleep. Imo Kyle Phillips, Taylor, and butcher are much more likely to be great de's
