Gosh i hate comments like this. People think Dobbs isn't good enough to get us to the playoffs, and they're just wrong. I've given this example multiple times, but auburn got to the national championship against FSU with a wide receiver (Nick Marshall) playing QB. IMO Dobbs is much better than that guy, so obviously he's good enough to get us to the playoffs.

Agree 110%. Just frustrating is all especially when we have a guy as talented as Dobbs. He does need to work on some things, but who doesn't? Don't be critical of a guy who has helped get this program back to where it is.

I agree. Dobbs can put up some points, people seem to forgot that having such a good defense coming back we won't need to much anyway. Our defense is gonna win us some games and make it easy on our offense.

Physical attributes and measureables are part of the eye test. If you're small and can't run fast, I doubt you're any good. Especially at a position that requires great athleticism like corner.

I may not care much for college stats. But I do care about numbers put up at the combine.

A fair evaluation should involve both, and you typically discount a player's stats/production in favor of your "eye test", especially if you're making the case for a player who didn't produce at a high level in college.

I think we were 2nd in the conference in 3rd down conversion success. You guys need find something else to harp on.

If you mean the OL they've been great at run protection which has been key to our success. They could def. improve in pass pro though. They're just not where they should be yet. That said, I have faith they will be.

Dobbs has what it takes. What he does as a rule is so mental. With a lethal defense and improved o-line his confidence should skyrocket. He started to show more poise towards the end IMO and that is promising. He is a quarterback, he didn't make it this far without being able to pass accurately
