I don't think this offense can operate at full throttle without a QB who can be a real threat with his legs. And don't give me the Cincy numbers. I'm talking about in the SEC.
I think Shoop's hiring cemented the offensive philosophy for Butch. Another reason why Debord is studying Clemson's O so closely.
QD is probably the odd man out at this point. There would have to be a major change in philosophy and passing scheme to move the O his direction. Butch is a 55-60% run when he is doing what he wants.
