'16 AZ DE Jonathan Kongbo UT Signee 2/3/16

I hope I'm wrong about his decision but to me it looks worse for us every day that goes by

not sure which rumors to trust but appears he has cancelled FSU visit and now will be at USC this weekend. Parents still pushing Washington for last visit

Alabama going after Juco's is strange to me. They're loaded on the line.

Sounds like to me Bama moved on. Remember it's been reported they are the one to pull the visit this weekend and even when it was supposedly scheduled the kid had no idea of details.

Isn't bama going hard after that 5 star de from Florida? So it's possible they were wishy washy with him and will be until that recruitment concludes

Very possible. They could have also sensed his strong pull toward UT and thought it better to back away vs just lose this one to Butch.

Hubbs kinda made it sound like they needed a HS DE more than a JUCO DE. They pushed the visit back, not Kongbo. If I'm a 5* DE I'm not taking a backseat because little Nicky wants to control my recruitment. Seems to me like he just eliminated them because of that and that is understandable.

It seems his family wants him out west and he still loves UT but is still very open.

I'm not getting the negativity in this thread right now...

For one, I think things have really been trending positive for UT the last 24 hours.

Also, I actually respect the guy for decommitting when he knew he still wanted to do his due diligence and take other visits.

Sounds like hubbs thinks Bama pulled the cord on this as well.

Don't get it either. All the news is positive for Tennessee right now.

Don't underestimate the African connection. That will be a big plus for us.

We just gotta weather the USC visit and i think he's ours.
