How long has the GOP had control of the house and senate? How many bills have reached a vote on deportation? In any case, those worried about deportation can't vote (except in Chicago of course).

Really? Worried about the Muslim vote.

Please explain how the GOP is against equal pay for women? I'll give you a hint, they're not. Women make less than men because they work less hours and take more time off.

Do you know what rhetoric is?

You asked specifically how the GOP is driving away groups of voters. These are some of the well documented reasons.

The answer, read your and other far right wing posters comments in this thread and you shall see shows these claims to be true. The far right needs to get off the hate trip.

That was a big blow to the Canadian. He made a statement if not for Sarah he would not have won his Texas Senate Seat

The bigger blow, Iowa Republican Governor Terry Branstad said on Tuesday it would be a "big mistake" for voters in the nation's first presidential contest next month to choose Ted Cruz for the Republican nomination, citing the U.S. senator's opposition to a biofuel mandate important to the state.

He also said Cruz was in the pocket of "Big Oil," and criticized the Texan's opposition to the Renewable Fuel Standard, which requires U.S. fuel to contain a minimum amount of biofuels, including ethanol.

I really like Gov Branstad. He appears to be a wise man

He's a fraud.

I agree. I was expecting him to say Cruz.

Cruz only gets the "anti-establishment" moniker because he doesn't play well with others and everyone in Congress hates his guts. He's a master at playing the part, though.

Rand and Trump are the actual anti-establishment candidates on the GOP side. And only one of those is a conservative.

I agree with all of that. Congress probably doesn't like Cruz because he's a full of ****.

Its actions that make them ignorant and lazy. We can hate actions, you know hate the sin but love the sinner.

People may say you are ignorant and lazy due to your actions.

That doesn't make them or you either one right

.Well, that and Cruz wants to shut down the ethanol subsidies going to Iowa.

Exactly why you should be voting for Rubio.

I would vote for Rubio if he wins the nomination. I am undecided about the primary but by the time TN votes several will be dropped out.

Rubio is Granny's man. She has liked him since the first primary.

Hillary with a smaller penis.

Right. I forgot how you proved me wrong about his foreign policy stances.

To say nothing of how much their economic plans are so alike.

And his stance on healthcare mirrors hers.

I seem to remember him saying how much he loved gun control as well.

Let's not forget how he put national security at risk by keeping highly classified documents on a private server.

Yes, I can see how they are so much alike.

Have you decided on Rubio or just leaning toward him?

Pretty sure I'm full on. Christie is still there in the background, but there are some issues I still have with him concerning gun control and healthcare. He could sway me depending on the situation.

Rubio will be a pawn. He's got zero guts.

Someone posted a poll that showed Kasich in 2nd place in NH, Christi was on down around 5th +-. I like both of them

After SC it may be down to around 4 candidates if Trump dont have it locked by then. If he wins the first 3, it may be over It is too early to lock in on a specific candidate now here in TN. I am in the ruling out phase and hope the ones I rule out are the one's standing when it gets to TN.

Spying on Americans isn't one of your issues with Christie?

I would about bet you that ever who wins the Presidency will be spying on us. In the world we live in today it is almost a necessity to keep America safe.

I disagree with that. Fear mongering has always been the governments main tool for attempting to take your rights from you.

Look, you can tout Rand all day long, but it comes down to the simple fact that he is unelectable. He cannot reach the poll numbers or the masses enough to make a meaningful impact talking the way he does. Take national security for example. While balancing the budget is in our vital national interests (ergo security), people don't want to hear about that when ISIS and others represent a threat to this nation. People don't want to hear about military budgets being cut, or troop levels being smaller or anything along those lines like Rand keeps saying. They want to know we have a powerful military ready and willing to protect them and not in our backyard either. They want to know our military can and will go into the terrorists front porch and kick them right smack in the balls followed by an uppercut to the jaw. Which is what the other candidates have promised, but Rand keeps avoiding the question.

And Rand can't make the promise of a strong military when he keeps talking about the budget. If he really wanted to sway the party and the moderate voters, he would be discussing how to stop the insanity that Obama has been doing with the military. Now whether or not the next President scales back our overseas involvement is moot. The fact that our aircraft are aging at a rapid rate, our equipment is in disarray and our fleets are diminishing is real and smacking us in the face. And Rand refuses to address that problem.

Fiscally, Rand Paul is probably the best choice of all the candidates out there. But he seriously comes up lacking in foreign policy and defense. And the GOP can and will not nominate him on those two issues alone. You can say this isn't about Rand, but I'm merely cutting to the chase for you in this conversation.

Now do I support the monitoring of Americans? Absolutely not. Because it's a slippery slope that leads to a place we really don't want to go.

I disagree with that. Fear mongering has always been the governments main tool for attempting to take your rights from you.

How is it fear mongering when W and O both tried to keep it a secret?

The President, if he does his job is going to use every means necessary to keep this nation safe.

What right have you lost?

Think I'll write-in vote for Elon Musk. Even though he's not running, or eligible.
