The far left has to preach that Republicans hate:
Mexicans
Gays
Women
Blacks
The poor

And the media will always help them spread these lies

The left does not have to preach, the Republicans do daily.

Take each one of those groups, add Muslims then point out what the GOP policies or their rhetoric is to entice those groups to join the party.

The GOP in 2016 is saying the correct things to appease/ rile the base but at the same time their rhetoric is driving many far, far away from the party.

Other than handing out "freeL shiz to any of those groups what are Dem's doing for anyone? What are they actually doing? The biggest problem is that people are growing more and more stupid.

You don't win elections by riling the base up. You lose them in a big way.

You seems to be forgetting the right in congress votes along with the left to fund all these handouts.
One side is as guilty as the other. Take a good look at the spending bill recently passed by Congress and signed by Obama. It will add another 1/2 trillion to our debt per reports.

Take your red glasses off. That massive spending bill could not have been passed without the GOP.

Both sides sux.

Exactly but the far right base has got in their minds the reason they are losing national elections is because the base is not riled and votes. The Dems nor Repubs have a large enough base to win a national elections. The far right refuses to accept that fact.

You win primaries by riling up the base.

But you can't go too far right or you cant come back to the middle during the general election. Its impossible for someone like Cruz or Trump to come back to the middle and appeal to independent or moderate voters.

The amazing thing is and many are not recognizing this fact, Trump is appealing to that "moderate"/"independent" voter. Lets just call a spade a spade and clarify what most moderate/independent voters are, they are low information predominately Dem leaning voters. Many are the union/blue collar type who are tired of the BS coming from the chosen party.

I don't like Trump at all, he isn't a conservative but his shtick is appealing to many more people than the far right. So far he's like Teflon nothing sticks and really he hasn't said much that he can't back up from.

That's incorrect. They are latino, single female voters, some with Postgrad degrees. You should know that Romney won the independent vote by 5 points but lost the single woman vote by 27 points, the latino vote by 44 points and postgraduates by 13 points.

So if the right provides all this as well why the hate?
I have plenty of issues with conservatives. I'm more anti-liberal than pro conservative.

Both sides do suck.

I was responding to the right-slamming with bringing up how the left seems to get this pass. We're on the same page.

But the dems can go far left and still get elected. Very troubling to where we are headed.

Thats they are able to sell to women that Republicans want to ban birth control, to latino that Republicans hate them and to college students and people in their grad years that Republicans have no solution for the student loan and the price of college crisis.

When you say sell, you should be saying lie.

What rhetoric? Hog you are trolling but I wI'll play.

Hispanics :

The rhetoric that we break up families and deport 20-30 millions illegals. We all know that is not going to happen. We will end up with some path to citizenship or something that will allow most to stay. All those children born on American soil are American citizens, the far right can like it or not, that is the law of the land. If, not hoing to happen, the parents of these children were deported what happens to the millions of children.

Muslims: the rhetoric that all Muslims are terrorist. There are 2.5 Billion Muslims in the world. There are around 3 million in the USA. We all know they are not all terrorist. We have Muslims serving in the mulitary, Congress etc. All are not terrorist.

Women:
It is not rhetoric when it comes to women.

The GOP politicians are against equal pay for women.

The GOP is against choice.

Women are already voting majority Democrat , someone (PKT I think) posted a chart showing how they have been voting.

Will that type of rhetoric bring those groups to vote GOP?

I seem to recall you constantly criticizing the tea party for not compromising with Obama and the dems, particularly during the budget shutdown situations. So you criticize republicans that help to pass the spending bills as well as those that oppose them?

GOP politicians against equal pay for women????? They may be against paying a waitress what a doctor makes. For the same job? I have never heard a politician being against that.

Wrong. I was pointing out to tumscalcium that the GOP are as guilty for the freebies as the Dems are and that includes the Tea Party members. Voting records and bill sponsors are easy to research. Actions speak louder than rhetoric. The Dems and the GOP equally suz. When it comes to entitlement programs the GOP are more hypocritical. They say they are against them yet vote for them.
