It would be quite the reality check for a recruit. Butch says if you come to Tennessee you will start. First game next year Kongbo asks why he isn't starting. Butch says oh I didn't mean right away. Maybe your second or third year you'll start.

At WR? Butch pulls that off he is THE salesman.

If Butch takes Kongbo, I have no problem with it. What I an saying is if I'm Kongbo, I'm not coming to UT with their DE depth. Fans always want elite depth 5-6 deep everywhere. Fact is its just not in the recruits best interest. Especially if you're a Juco signee.

I'm a troll because UT isn't perfect for everyone in every situation? Seems kind of narrow minded.

In some of my previous posts you would note I said taking Woods over Kongbo made sense as Woods is a high school guy with more time to play. Not a troll. Just pay attention to a lot more than the little stars by a guy's name.

You clearly have an agenda. I would guess you are fan of Alabama, or at least another school that is recruiting him and trying to get message across. Basically why are you trying so hard to make this point?

During his recruitment we treated every 4star or higher as the savior of the program. Pretty sad looking back on it

This board is such hyperbole city. Vereen is not great. Nor is he bad. He is a solid player who has flashes at times. Could he continue to improve? Absolutely. He is a solid SEC starter but nothing to rave about. If he was a senior today he wouldn't get drafted. Love his motor and hoping he blows up.

Also, those touting his end of the season push - besides Alabama it was all scrub teams. Gotta use the whole season.
