He knows he can't win NY. He's willing to trade that for the additional votes he'll get for saying what most know in other states. Borrowed that strategy from Trump.Cruz hurt himself with the New York shot?
I didn't think it was very Presidencial to attack the people of New York. I agreed with him but not sure it helps him anywhere except iowa

Could be. We'll see. I can't see where a farmer from Iowa would really care if he insulted some New Yorkers.
Directly I agree but at this point many are just trying to figure out who to align themselves with to defeat Hillary.
I am in that boat. I don't think trump can beat her. So I want to support a candidate that can. That's why I think it's Rubio or Cruz and if the polls don't look good for Cruz i think many voters will back Rubio. That's why I think the New York stuff might hurt Cruz
Rubio hurt himself in my eyes when he was talking about trade with China. He said a tariff on Chinese imports would end up being paid by the American consumer and that would hurt. It would drive up the cost of Chinese products. We'll duh! In turn it would make American made goods more competitive.
I need to research Cruz's tax plan. I'm all for the flat tax but if what Rubio said is true that his corporate tax is effectively a VAT tax, I'm dead against it.
