'16 AZ DE Jonathan Kongbo UT Signee 2/3/16

If we don't even offer his desired major it sounds like he just committed to quickly. Unless we can sell him on getting to the league under Strip I would say he goes somewhere that offers his major. I hate to lose him cause I think he is gonna be a wrecking ball on the DL!

I know other universities in the UT system offer Criminal Justice (UTC). Isn't there a way to do most of the class work at UTK and get the other Criminal Justice courses remotely or on-line? No insult intended, but CJ isn't rocket science and can't be too challenging.

CBP is to Bama today. And before someone states the obvious that CBP's are not always correct. That do get it right most of the time......Also says His family was really impressed with Bama. I doubt we get him.:thud:

Do they? After they switch their picks how many times? Besides, the CB that you cited was from 'reddit'. Whoever that is has a 55.88% success rate. I guess another case where 60% of the time it works every time.

Hold on we have the body farm that has helped the FBI before in investigations but we don't offer criminal justice? Now I'm not a smart man but that don't make no cents.

Well technically the body farm is for forensic anthropology which is basically a form of biology. So there's a little too much hard science involved with that for your average criminal justice major (no offense intended).

I'm thinking he's gone. War Room says there's a chance, but without UT offering his preferred major it seems kind of silly. Surely his parents are encouraging him to follow his dreams.

I had to do Sociology with emphasis in Criminal Justice there because no true criminal justice

One of the reasons I ended up at ETSU was due to the criminal justice program. I ended up being an accountant, but my initial major coming out of junior college was criminal justice.

Do you understand the semantics of how a CB works? They change those picks MULTIPLE times throughout the recruiting process. That is why they 'hit more than they miss' on them. Sometimes things change quickly when a recruit commits suddenly and they do not have time to change their CB. But most of the time they are able to change their CB right before a commitment.

Maybe his dream involves playing football for the school he chooses.

Could be, but let's be real...you're going to school for an education in hopes that you win the lottery and make it to the NFL.

I think it's a pipe dream for him and his parents to recognize that and ignore it.

He gone.

For a 5* defensive end who is the nations number one juco player, making it to the NFL is not the equivalent of winning the lottery. Also, your stance is a bit out of touch if you ask me. Not sure if you're trolling so im out.

You serious? No troll here. We'll see if he ends up at a school with a CJ program.
