I love VN but we have too many posters here with uninformed opinions. If you have never been a college recruit or gone through it with a child of your own, then you have no idea how difficult this can be for a young adult. For some it's simple, you get an offer from your dream school and that's the end of the process. But, unfortunately, it's not that cut and dry for most. This can be the most impactful decision a person makes in their entire life, so please stop calling these kids names or saying negative things about them if they happen to choose someone other than us (I do realize this will never happen). While it seems like a no brainer to a Vol fan, it's not an easy decision for a young man or their family. There are so many factors involved beyond football to consider, that it's not near as fun or glamorous as it appears to the casual observer. I'm just asking some here to be a little more considerate with what you say about kids that we would all love to see wearing the orange and white.
Mehhh yall are talking about the wrong kind if compression. I think we should be focused on posting photos of hot women in compression shorts and pants....that is a compression subject worth debating.....lol
First, concerning Jonathan Kongbo, we believe that visit went really well with Robert Gillespie, the lead recruiter for the five-star defensive end. We've been told several times now that Kongbo's decommitment didn't have as much to do with his comfort level with Tennessee, instead it had to do with him wanting to take a few more visits and his family wanting him to be open about that.
Also, Kongbo is wanting to major in criminal justice, something Tennessee doesn't have. So, the Vols are having to work around that as well.
Despite that, from everyone we've talked to concerning Kongbo, he remains most comfortable with Tennessee's staff. He talks with head coach Butch Jones on a regular basis. He and Stripling have a good relationship was well.
That one isn't done in any capacity it seems. The Vols continue to make him a priority but so do Alabama and that visit was moved to Jan. 22. We will see if Kongbo takes a fifth and final official visit but that's still up in the air.
