2016 Election

I said it before that even with all it's faults, the DNC will get behind whomever has the (D) behind their name on election day.

The GOP on the other hand continues to be splintered and fragmented along minor ideological points. Which works okay for a Senate or House election, but for the POTUS, it's a disaster.

I said up front I'm not a Trump supporter, and that hasn't changed. I can get over the bombast, but I cannot get past my belief that he is not really a conservative.

I am, however, quite amused at what he's done to the GOP establishment that I truly despise.

And I think it's delicious irony that the establishment candidates were whining that Trump might go third party and spoil their chances, so they insisted on a pledge to support whoever the eventual nominee would be. And now I watch on as many of them are hedging on whether they could support Trump.

I hope he'll remind them of the pledge they insisted everyone take before participating in the second debate.

That's right Hoss, I deal with the public every day literally hundreds of people every week. There's plenty of other links out there that say the same thing, if you don't like the ones I posted.

You meet hundreds of new people every week for work and they talk about who they are voting for. Seems legit.

I'll still be shocked if Trump gets the nomination. Even so, he has said a few times in recent weeks that he has no plans to run on a third party ticket.

Just an opinion here, but I don't think he'd spend the money or energy on what he knows would be a losing campaign.

I wouldn't be so sure, he wouldn't have to spend much to give Hillary the keys to the WH.

Your belief is correct Trump is not close to being a conservative. His record shows him to be a liberal but his rhetoric has pulled the majority of the far right into his camp. It is sorta funny that some posters call McCain, Graham, Bush, Christie and Kasich Rinos and would never support them then turn around and support Trump who's record shows is is way to the left of any of those candidates. Instead of listening to a candidates rhetoric, I look at their record. Actions speak louder than words, period

Trump is a candidate I have not been able to decide if I can support or not. I don't think he would work with either side in Congress then I think his brash style may be exactly what we need in DC.

In sure he'll find a loophole to file another bankruptcy that won't affect him personally. You know... No sweat of his back.

He should ask Hillary for lessons on enriching oneself while in office. He'll never have to file another bankruptcy again.

I bet Iran would pay good money for a speech from Ivanka!

You may not agree but filing bankruptcy is a legal procedure that many businesses and individuals have used. Attacking Trump on something he did that was 100% legal has no merit.

Which leads me back to the picture I posted a free pages ago. They are the same.

I have no issues with someone filing bankruptcy, when they do not have means to pay back amounts that they've borrowed. Or have fallen upon a time in their lives where the income is no longer there. It happens. But once should be enough.

I do have an issue when someone has filed as many times as he has, whether it be his business or personal.

If working the counter at McDs is getting out, no thanks

Leave the comedy for the comedians, I work in the environmental industry and if we weren't expanding our customer base we'd be going under, I thought you claimed to know something about economics. I know my evidence isn't scientific but I'm telling you what I m hearing, whether or not you choose to believe it is entirely up to you.

I heard Kasich this morning on Fox satellite radio on the drive in. He was going on and on about North Korea, and the vacuum of leadership by Obama as the cause. He was talking about his teenage daughters, and how worried he was for them that N. Korea would be an issue for them for their entire lives. Said N. Korea must be stopped.

Commentator asked "How?"

There was a solid period of dead silence. Kasich had no answer. It was embarrassing. Then he started with some gibberish. I mean, true gibberish. Like a two year old's, non existent word, sentence fragment type gibberish.

Truly disastrous moment for him.

What does anything i've said here have to do with economics?

So you meet hundreds of people for work weekly, have time to talk politics with them, yet you are on VN all day everyday. This all totally adds up and doesn't smell of embellishment at all.

Like when Chris Matthews asked Hilary the difference between a socialist and a democrat? Or when Bill was asked about his sexual abuse allegations? Now that Shlt was disastrous! Neither one could give a straight awnser and in Hilary's case there is no difference, just ask Debbie wasserman Schultz , she was tongue tied as well..funny how you don't mention those instances.😱

That's correct genius, I'm talking to some customers now, I post periodically as time permits, I'm not sitting on my hemmoroids posting all day long.

Businesses in America file every day. I have not decided on Trump but I will not rule him out because some of his companies did something that is 100% legal.

He might have had that in there somewhere.

I think it would take a team of translators months to figure out what he said. I honestly think he might have had a stroke, it was that awful.

Far worse than either.

Talking to customers and me simultaneously? That's impressive. No wonder you post nonsensical things, like the economics comment.
