No I'm not saying we're in trouble on the Dline. I've wondered the same thing about Kongbo.

But I really can't say much other than its not a talent issue. I'm sorry I know how much this kind of thing is hated but I figure some knowledge is better than no knowledge.

Oh..well that sucks. I thought the kid had a lot of Will Overstreet in him. Thought he would make a difference in a couple of years.

His dad made a very long post on VQ (I think) that told the extent of Butcher's knee injury and surgery, but also said he would be full go by fall camp. At this point, I will believe what his dad said over anyone else.

I remember reading that and it sounded pretty serious. You never quite know how much of a set back things like that will be. Sometimes it leads to other injuries.

And that might be true, too. Until I hear otherwise, I will believe what he said that Butcher will be ready for fall camp.

Maybe someone has lost it. I haven't... and because I recognize where it is now I can be prepared and not "lose it" after NSD either.

The problem with your first paragraph is that in the previous two years.... they already had top prospects committed. I'm sure they kept working others until NSD... but those are always low confidence recruits. This is one place where you are always at an advantage playing "defense" over guys who are already committed.

The reason UT is going after those top uncommitted guys isn't good. It is because they don't have them or equal talents committed.

To me this is like freaking out after the Arkansas game and saying the season is over. Folks looked dumb then. You look dumb now.

If you go back and look, I didn't freak out after Arkansas. In fact, I gave the opinion that Arkansas wasn't lost because Jones went too conservative unlike OU and UF. Jones tried to take control of the game. The players just failed to catch passes and make blocks.

Dumb for what? Pointing out that the trajectory of this class has to change for it to turn out good? For pointing out that Jones cannot afford an off year this year in recruiting without having to play Fr in '17?

The only "freaking out" going on here is you calling someone "dumb" because they confront you with something you'd rather ignore.

The world must have completely turned upside down over the last two days without me realizing it. Seriously, it's weird. I have agreed with pretty much everything D4H has said. I'm not sure how to take that.

As for you FF guys that like to on occasion come over here and act like you know what you're talking about......just don't. We don't want to hear your BS. Go back over to where people suck your hiney and hang on every dingle berry you sh** out of your arse.

Just because you say it's being realistic, doesn't really make it realistic. It's still just your opinion, and in most cases......a stupid one.

I "still" think Tennessee should be favor"ed" here. I dont see what "fs"u or southern Cal have to offer over Tennessee for his short "career". Just my opinion though "."

I won't defend his negativity, but I wouldn't call it being "dumb" either. Sjt usually strikes me as someone who tries to think objectively, so I'll step in and say yes, from an objective standpoint this class looks bad on paper, especially considering losing Kongbo.

However, that being said I do agree with you. It is (subjectively) nowhere near time to worry.

Now is not the time for fear. That comes later.

No, it's finding every little negative thing to ***** about. "Negative" things happen all day long, but most people don't dwell on them. Admit it, some of your concerns about Butch Jones after year one have changed. Now that recruiting is "down," you have to ***** about that.

Don't understand how people like this make it in life. Lighten up and enjoy the sunshine occasionally.
