There ARE indeed some black parents that relate to black coaches better, and if he is the family guy, caring type, that they portray him as then yes, it would be a wise move to send him there in case that helps with the recruiting. Are you saying it would hurt the recruiting?? Your closed minded views limit you to being able to think outside the box, pal. Sending your son from Canada to TN is very stressful for some parents and they get nervous because their baby is going thousands of miles away, so MAYBE she might relate to Scott and feel very comfortable with him being a 'father' figure while he is off at school. Get over it and open your eyes to the really real world. In recruiting you are catering to the parents as well as the kids, if not more. It's a smart move. I'm just thankful that you are not in charge of recruiting.
