I'm in Tampa (Palm Harbor) and ready to watch Purple Vandy get blasted on Friday. Saw a handful of Tennessee flags on I-75 today.

Also planning on taking a detour through the UF campus on Saturday/Sunday during the drive home and putting some kind of a hex on the Swamp. Maybe I'll just pee on Tebow's statue or something.

Off topic, but I just saw a graphic:

Larry Bird - 649 made 3 pointers in 13 year career

Steph Curry - 687 made 3 pointers... since beginning of 2013 season.

Good grief! How good is this kid? It's unreal

He's incredible and this is in no way meant to diminish him but is there a better comparison? They are two completely different players. How about Reggie Miller at this point?

How about nobody. He has redefined his position like Michael Jordan and Shaquille O'Neal. No one in the game like them.

Lebron is also changing the forward position.

The thing about curry is there has never been this good of a shooter period plus he can handle the ball like very few can. He also can play off the ball. So basically he can do what cp3 does but only better and he can also do what Reggie Miller did but better.

True he's a different breed but Reggie was a chucker from long distance too. Just trying to find someone even remotely close.
I'm an NBA dummy so there's that.

At this point meaning years in the league as Steph is currently? After 7 years in the league Reggie had something like 715 made 3's.

If Steph never played another game this year, he would finish his 7th year in the league with more that 1,300+ made 3's.

Engineer Vol

Congrats. Kids are such a gift. If you think you love watching the Vols, just wait till you get to watch them do their thing. It could be sports, music, or whatever. It will bring you so much joy if you invest in them which I am sure you will. They will amaze and teach you. You are a lucky guy to get to be called dad. I know you are up to the challenge. :hi:

I remember watching him against UTC when he was a junior and thinking the same thing.

I feel like Lebron's body will fail him sooner than MJ lasted. He's too large of a person he can't physically do what he does for much longer. I know he's a freak but it won't happen.

Curry on the other hand will play forever he doesn't have the same physical demand on his body. He will pass Reggie on that mark.
