Is Dobbs the best SEC QB in 2016?

If Kelly stays he will be best all around QB. If Knight transfers to UF from Oklahoma he could be in the conversation he would do well in UF offense. He did not fit Rileys offense at OU like Mayfield did. If Dobbs gets his downfield passing going he would be tops. Also a little like the Heisman the All SEC QB needs to be on a 10 win team usually.

I doubt it unless he has learned how to accurately throw the deep ball and read better than he did in 2015. He he improves in those areas, he could challenge for the top spot in the SEC.

Just curious, for those who don't think Dobbs is the best QB in the SEC next year, who would you rather have? Seriously.

I know grandpa but it's a different game these days. A running QB is required to run the read option. Even the great Peyton Manning would have looked like Justin Worley running this offense.

No one with Manning at qb is running a read option offense

Not till he proves consistently that he can through a deep ball accurately.

That's a bit extreme

Switch consistently with occasionally

If anyone on earth could consistently throw the deep ball accurately they would average 700 yds passing per game

Dobbs does what is asked of him. He is the CEO of the offense and a "game manager." I could never put him in the elite category bc of his inaccuracy, but he does make up for most of that with his legs. Love Dobbs though, great attitude and work ethic.

With Dak leaving Mississippi State, aTM losing both of their stars, Grier leaving UF, Coker graduating, and all the rest...is Dobbs the clear cut #1 SEC QB? And if not, who will be better? Maybe Chad Kelly?

Definitely Chad Kelly, then Josh

This is laughable. Dobbs will have his chance to cement his legacy but right now you can't put him ahead of Ainge or Tee much less Clausen.

Dobbs is much better than Tee was. More accurate thrower, much more dynamic runner.

Yeah, I don't know how Peyton Manning would ever flourish playing from the shotgun on every snap with 3 and 4 wides....
