I think so. Pharma is a powerful lobbying group but the most recent polls I've read say that 70% of Americans think drug prices need to be regulated. Whoever the Democratic candidate is will seize upon that.

Personally, I think the US will eventually evolve to the way Germany and Japan link approval and pricing of new drugs together. Maybe not in the next 5 yrs but sometime in the future.

Clinton has already come out with some "proposal" - I'm sure it will be modified once the Clinton Foundation suddenly gets some new donors who also need some "speeches" in the future.

the guy worked for Jim Cramer (a well known liberal), donated to HRC in 08 and Bernie Sanders in 2015. He also spent his whole life in NYC. He is the definition of a coastal liberal elitist
