Yup. Also ran one back about three weeks ago.

Plus, this straight-line speed:

I think CP is actually faster than the 40 he posted at the Combine. He definitely seems like a sub 4.4 guy, and his acceleration/change of direction/body control are all absolutely elite.

Berry excels with vision and tough running, but you need more than that in the NFL. I mean, he's fast as hell too, but I think CP has the edge in athleticism.

Berry is very athletic. CP is more athletic but he's no where near as strong of a runner. That stiff arm of his is super nasty.

Guys it's okay for a Dooley recruit to be better at something than a Jones recruit.

CP can do on offense what he did in KO. Not sure Berry is capable of doing the same on offense. Would love to see 29 with that opportunity though!

Berry is elite. CP was just elitier.

Put Berry at RB and he would do numbers.

Dobbs in this offense or Bray in Chaney offense?

Dobbs in this offense. When this offense works it is beautiful. Chaney's offense was fun to watch when it worked as well, but it led to too many 3 and outs and good field position for the opponent. We rarely go 3 and out with Dobbs and can at least pick up a few first downs if we have to punt.

I also think that we haven't really seen what this offense is capable of. I've mentioned him before, but Dan LeFevour at Central Michigan was the perfect fit for Butch's offense and put up Tebow-like numbers every year under Butch.

Bray=Brat that doesn't work hard enough and isn't mentally tough. For them reasons alone I would take Dobbs everyday and twice on Sunday. Dobbs is a worker, doesn't sulk when things go wrong and doesn't give up no matter what. Dobbs is a true leader.GBO!

On our team this year with the same RBs and Defense, I think Bray, CP/Da'Rick, Hunter, and Chaney > Dobbs, Malone, Pearson/Smith, and DeBord/CBJ.

The points that Bray and Co. was insane. They did it without any semblance of a running back. Having Hurd and Kamara would have taken a lot of pressure of Bray, IMO.

Note: This is not in any way knocking our team this year or Dobbs personally. I think that our offense this year was great, but Dobbs really does need to work on his accuracy issues.

Bray had 1st round arm talent with a junior high maturity level. It's a shame he didn't have someone like Coach Cut to whip him into shape.

Jones has the better run game. The sprint draw crap Chaney/Dooley ran was ugly. Agree with other points

I didn't think the TEs lived up to potential

Once I found out he wasn't directly in charge of the special teams units themselves I assumed that was jones way of letting the fan base know he wasn't as important as many here were suggesting

That's my feeling anyway

Our TEs are very well coached. That is a usage problem not coaching. When Ellis and Wolf number is called they make plays catching and blocking. Elder is a future coaching star. He is not someone Butch wants to lose but you can't blame a guy for taking a shot at furthering career. His special teams credit is overblown because that's a Butch and team effort thing but TEs were very well coaches. I also heard Elder is great with x and os and very helpful with game planning and in box.

I hope he gets it. He deserves it. It's not the end of world for us at all. We probably just have Debord coach TEs along with OC since he already works with OL. Then hire a QB coach full time.

I brought that up in the FF before I knew about the RF back when Hiestand was the O-line coach for Dools. Which taught me some lessons on where I needed to spend my time and it was not there. Anyhow, the O-line was blocking a classic sprint draw style, never leaving the LOS and steering the defenders. They would go with a classic spread formation with QB roll outs and sprint draw running plays. It made zero sense. Then the coaches would berate the O-line and RB's for not running the ball well.

Debord improved the running game strongly over the course of the season with some blocking adjustments. That counter play was money, just like the counter trey was in CPF's days. I just want them to tighten up and go under center some in the red zone.

This offense would be unbelievable if we could somehow develop a down field passing game.
