It's a thinly veiled attempt for someone to call the fans uneducated. I went to Carson Newman and grew up in South Knoxville but apparently it's been deemed I'm not allowed to be a fan. Who knew.

I came into this thread thinking I have a lot of respect for Fitzgerald their coach, the job he has done there, and the toughness of their team.

After that NW fan post though, I hope we lay a Vandy-level beat down on them.

Sounds like the typical Northerner, who has moved to Tennessee because they couldn't get a job up there. They come running down here with their tails between their legs, then try to act all high and mighty when they get here.

Also tells me that they don't know what the hell they are talking about. I would say game for game, play for play, player for player, the largest majority of SEC fans know a whole hell of a lot more about other conferences than theirs do. We love football down here. NOT just SEC football.

I'm more than okay with special teams deciding the game.

I live up here so we have to beat them. Most people from the Chicago area either aren't into college sports or are Notre Dame fans. Northwestern's fanbase is a relatively new thing as they weren't that good until Fitz took over.

Yes, it was unlucky for NW to draw this Vol team, but it is what it is.....Vols have been there
