We are gonna have to find another tackle. I really hope Richmond gets ready.

We really really need Cam to come back. Personally my hope is that Cam comes back and someone overtakes EM as the corner opposite of Cam.

The safety position will be one to watch as well. (Another reason we need Cam to stay to strengthen our secondary)

Justin Martin starts opposite Cam.

We've got our next tackle on the roster.

Safety play won't have a drop off at all

His defenses at Auburn under Tubs were nasty though

His statement could not be more wrong. Unless you consider being in the Top 10 in total defense by his second season at every school he has been a DC or HC as being not so hot. People say stuff without even checking the stats.

It appeared to me he has that kind of talent. I am glad they did not just throw him to the wolves, they took time to develop and work him in.

Cam freshman year was really to small but his talent helped him make plays. His second year he built his reputation. This year he was actually better in coverage. Evidence is by looking at teams avoiding him at all costs. They game planned for him a lot more. That's why he only has 1 INT with all the press coverage we ran.

Pretty sure Tubbs is a defensive guy too. Could be another case where Muschamp wasn't even the best defensive coach on staff.

He had some good years at Texas too, but they had a clear talent advantage over everyone they played outside of Oklahoma in those days.

He can coach defense man can't take that from him. lol

I'm not a talent evaluator but when I watched Auburn games this year, I wasn't that impressed. They looked a little like Tennessee in the 2010 - 2013 era to me. A few stud athletes but something was missing. I know they've had some good recruiting classes but I haven't been surprised to hear some post mortems on their season that they have work to do recruiting wise.

Muschamp must see it. The rats are fleeing the sinking ship. I think Malzahn is done after next year.

More that the talent evaluation is not as good. Mr. Bob has helped UT tremendously. Recruiting stars is great but you do need to make sure they deserved those starts to begin with.

I agree. Dooley had a few high ranked classes but they clearly didn't pan out The level of athletes we are putting on the field now relative to a few years ago is night and day, even to the amateur observer like me.

I think Auburn may be down for a little while. Tough side of the conference and they need some help. Strange program. They haven't had back to back 10 win seasons since the 1980s, yet every four or five years they seem to put together some ridiculous championship type season almost out of nowhere. Been like that for a long time. Wish we would play them in their down years - we always seem to get them in the good ones. I hate we've lost so many in a row to them.

🙏🏾 o man, If it's Outback, I will definitely be at the game.
If it's citrus , 80% chance I'll be in attendance

Wonder how Les Miles feels when the AD admits the he was searching around for a new coach. Seems like he almost had Jimbo. Les won't abandon the kids he's coaching right now, but I sure as hell would not want to coach at LSU anymore. That AD needs to be fired. What a bad situation to be in.

John Feinstein was ripping Joe Alleva earlier in the week. Said he was at the heart of really screwing up handling the Duke LaCrosse rape scandal. And he's pretty much made a monumental blunder at every stop.

OMG. Just came from the BskB forum. Much worse the FB forum. Now I remember why I only visit that one every 2 weeks!

Oh, wow. Didn't know he was there for that. That was a colossal screw up at Duke. So Alleva is just like so many people I know and so many I don't that continue to fail upwards. Can't believe he hasn't been fired, yet. He's a cancer at that school now.

Also, it sucks not watching the Vols play. Hate that the season is over. This season flew right by.

I essentially get all of my news on Twitter. I find writers/reporters that I like and decide to follow. There's really no need for sports "news" shows anymore because information is so accessible. The only reason to turn on either ESPN/FS1 is for commentary or entertainment and there isn't much talent in that regard at either station unless they are carrying an actual game.

VolNation! I can't believe you forgot VolNation!
