We are gonna have to find another tackle. I really hope Richmond gets ready.
We really really need Cam to come back. Personally my hope is that Cam comes back and someone overtakes EM as the corner opposite of Cam.
The safety position will be one to watch as well. (Another reason we need Cam to stay to strengthen our secondary)
It appeared to me he has that kind of talent. I am glad they did not just throw him to the wolves, they took time to develop and work him in.
His defenses at Auburn under Tubs were nasty though
Pretty sure Tubbs is a defensive guy too. Could be another case where Muschamp wasn't even the best defensive coach on staff.
He had some good years at Texas too, but they had a clear talent advantage over everyone they played outside of Oklahoma in those days.
I'm not a talent evaluator but when I watched Auburn games this year, I wasn't that impressed. They looked a little like Tennessee in the 2010 - 2013 era to me. A few stud athletes but something was missing. I know they've had some good recruiting classes but I haven't been surprised to hear some post mortems on their season that they have work to do recruiting wise.
Muschamp must see it. The rats are fleeing the sinking ship. I think Malzahn is done after next year.
More that the talent evaluation is not as good. Mr. Bob has helped UT tremendously. Recruiting stars is great but you do need to make sure they deserved those starts to begin with.
Wonder how Les Miles feels when the AD admits the he was searching around for a new coach. Seems like he almost had Jimbo. Les won't abandon the kids he's coaching right now, but I sure as hell would not want to coach at LSU anymore. That AD needs to be fired. What a bad situation to be in.
John Feinstein was ripping Joe Alleva earlier in the week. Said he was at the heart of really screwing up handling the Duke LaCrosse rape scandal. And he's pretty much made a monumental blunder at every stop.
I essentially get all of my news on Twitter. I find writers/reporters that I like and decide to follow. There's really no need for sports "news" shows anymore because information is so accessible. The only reason to turn on either ESPN/FS1 is for commentary or entertainment and there isn't much talent in that regard at either station unless they are carrying an actual game.
