2016 Election

Serious question.
Do you sincerely believe Cruz would be a better president or do you hate the Clinton's and would vote for anyone running against Hillary in the general?

Imo, both would be terrible.
I would vote for LG over Hillary. That woman is a maniacal, egotistical, narcissistic, sociopath. I have asked LG over and over that if just one of the allegations against her are true, how he could vote for her, and he NEVER answers. Never. Yet she is their candidate. I honestly don't know a lot about Cruz because I really don't follow the "candidates" too closely at this juncture. They are all saying what they need to say to get the nod at this point, and until they are the actual standard bearer, I'm not getting too wrapped up in it. What I have heard from him though seems pretty measured, and he is doing what he was elected as a Tea Party senator to do. There seems to be a lot of character assassination going on from the left which is expected, yet they are some of the same things The Chosen One has gotten a pass on for the last 7 years. Funny, no? My feelings regarding Hillary are pretty well set though. As a former military officer, I would be in prison for doing what she did as SecState. Pleading ignorance about commsec is ridiculous, yet here she is as their nominee. The thought of her at the helm is truly frightening, but maybe I should figure out a way to get some of that free stuff she is promising. In the case of these two, the lesser of the two evils is the difference between Pop Warner and the NFL.

Ted Cruz is smarter than Hillary, Hussein, and Bernie combined. Would also Kill them in any debate.

Cruz or Trump would be a billion percent better than any communist candidate the democrat party can put forward.

Cruz would be worse then Bernie Sanders, imo.

He talked a good talk when he first came to DC but his emphasis on socially conservative rhetoric is too jarring for anyone who actually cares about liberty to ignore.

Also, if any politician were to be a secret lizard man or reptile, it would be Cruz.

What reasons or is this what all the cool kids think now?

Cruz and Rubio both have the same problem that Obama had. 1 term junior senator with no real leadership experience on their resume.

Not to mention the fact that they are enamored of big government.

You would be correct, however, that is exactly what several on here are for. A Washington that does nothing. I would gladly sit on my ass to please my VN brothers and sisters.

I'd settle for a Washington that does just enough of what it's supposed to do. I hope you are not implying that nothing is happening in Washington?

Just what I thought you would say. Voting against Hillary not for Cruz

You need to be clear on which of "any allegations" we are talking about.

If you mean it was true that she murdered someone, of course I would not vote for her. If you mean she did not timely deal with a request for more security at Benghazi, I'm a little less bothered because apparently the entire apparatus failed on that one.

Would you vote for someone who was Secretary of State and didn't have enough to discernment to identify what might be considered classified information?

Cruz's biggest issue is that he makes is an easy villain. Dems certainly don't like him. And he rubbed a lot of the moderates the wrong way when he got to Washington and quickly rocked the boat.

Most of the Republicans in the Senate don't like Cruz.

Used a personal internet server, totally in violation of secure communications in a high level position such as she held. Even the most junior military officer knows this. She did it. Inexcuseable. That one alone should disqualify her, but it pales in comparison to all the free stuff she is gonna dole out.

The list of questionable deaths associated with the Clintons is long, so she very well could have been involved in murder, but you will undoubtedly dismiss that as well as a vendetta against her. So there is suspicion unless you are a complete partisan hack like yourself.

Trading futures and making a fortune. Only Imelda Marcos took a smaller payout ant turned it into more money. Imagine if she wouldn't have bought all those shoes.

She's toxic. Just like the rest of those you kneel before.

I know. If you are interested in the status quo, he certainly wouldn't be your guy.

Neither would Trump. I am leaning more and more towards him. His administration would be a change that might just work. I am still undecided but no way would I vote for Cruz.

Yep that's exactly what we need, a president that his own party despises.

It's not a student council election. They don't like Cruz because he holds them accountable. It annoys them that he tries to deliver on what he told his constituents he stands for.

Mitch and the boys don't want a squeaky wheel in their midst. Keep in mind, the Republicans have plenty of power to influence the agenda in Washington. They CHOOSE not to do it.
