SIAP: Eason is taking an official visit to UF. They are losing their minds on the UGA boards. Also, Pruitt is apparently a deity to them now. Some are calling for him to be made HC.

It's so awesome and fun to watch the UGA fans go ballistic on their forumns. Between the hope they get Chip Kelly to the resind indifference to Smart. Good times and so happy it's not us.

Hearing that Cut is getting a look at both USCe and UGA.

Would hate to see him in the SEC. He would do really well.

He would have to surround himself with a great staff of recruiters If he stepped back in the SEC. I personally think he retires at Duke. He's got it made there.

Dobbs is like "uh, yea, bye"

But I'm laughing at Kamara... He straight ganked the pylon. 😂

They both have pylons for some reason. There's a picture of that from another angle, but you can still see a little of the pylon Dobbs has in this picture.

I agree with this 100%. Seems some people on here don't realize we are already back and that they are currently watching a team filled with players that are among the best in Tennessee history at their respective positions (Hurd, Dobbs, Barnett, C Sutton, E Berry, etc etc).

Next to Bama, we are the best team in the SEC.

We would steamroll Michigan in a bowl game

Had the refs done their jobs we would've beat Bama in TTown.

We aren't back yet, is all I'm sayin.

I get what you are saying. We are getting there and almost back. Seems the improvement makes you happy but not completely satisfied. 11-1 or 10-2 in the regular season would mean we are back on the national scene with a chance to win SEC championships. This is what I want and when it happens you have the chance to win it all. You may have a down year now and then where you go 8-4 but that would be the bad exception. Other teams would dread playing you. Even the Alabama's of the world. Happy with the improvement? yes.........satisfied.......no

Dude I put my blood, sweat, and tears on that hill for 4, long years. Seen the best you could possibly see and have also been in TEARS. Don't tell me about the Dooley years, that clown wouldn't even let us have access to the facilities.

I'm just being realistic about expectations. People on here get all excited about 8 wins and thats a great sign due to the dooley years. But we are TENNESSEE, and should temper that happy feeling until we actually beat somebody and get to 9, 10, 11 WINS consistently. Those glory days are coming again my friend. Just wait for it.

You're an idiot if you think people are simply celebrating 8 wins.

We're celebrating PROGRESS and POTENTIAL. We had tons on injuries and relied on lots of true freshmen and sophomores to get 8 wins against one of the most difficult schedules in the nation. Add to that the fact that we were 3-4 defesive stops from being 11-1 or 12-0. I'm not celebrating beating the likes of Vanderbilt or Missouri. I'm celebrating the promise of what's to come.

We're on an upward trend. Hop aboard the rocket before it's too late.

Michigan and UT in Citrus would be one of the biggest games outside the playoffs. Two resurgent powerhouses etc with real shots at their divisions. Ut and Northwestern NSM. I don't care becuase either is a step forward and pounding NW into oblivion would be nice publicity.

I'm not celebrating a thing right now....... I'm disappointed in the season but proud of the team for their progress.

Hell I'll celebrate for all you guys then. We did what we haven't done in almost a decade. We were on the brink of collapse and rose out of the ashes in progressive steps. Poised now to do great things in 2016.

Add to this that we have the most stable program in the east now.
We have the best rushing attack in east.
Best dline in east.

etc etc etc

I don't think anyone should be celebrating. Not to take away from being excited about a bowl game and 9 win season, I know im expecting more with this team next year.

How does UF bring more money to the city than Tennessee or LSU? Bowls have obligations to their host cities. Out-of-state schools would sell way, way more hotel rooms and do way more touristy stuff than a bunch of near locals.

What would a UF-UM home and home have to do with Orlando?

You don't think UF would bring revenue to the city? You're selling UF brand short if you think otherwise. This isn't some crap bowl game in Jax.

As for UM game...If Orlando feels UF won't sell seats for a bowl game its no way they commit to the reported 4 year host deal bc of possible lost revenue.

I see you never answered my question about the supposed "clicks" a UF v UM bowl game would garner :)

Dobbs made a bee line to grab one, post game. I thought it was odd, like peewee football, setting up and taking down your own field

I guarantee because of the tentative home and home with UM the city won't burn that bridge with UF. It's been discussed at length on UF sites already. The Mayor has already started backing UF. Better get your Outback tix.

A game in Gainesville and Miami has an affect on Orlando... how? Lol burn that bridge. That's hilarious. Every point you just made is inconsequential to the bowl game. Tennessee is a better choice than UF, hands down.

To your little 4 game host ish. That is not comparing apples to apples. They could either have a game vs Florida and Miami or no game at all. That's the difference.

Here they can pick a month before two teams, lsu or Tennessee that travel better and have better stories than the Florida PEDs. As they travel better, they will also buy more hotels and hotel nights rather than fans driving over for the game. It's not rocket science.
