We are back??? 8-4 with one "Good" win against Georgia??? and the rest against teams that we should have beat by 50 each time?? And did good to get out of a couple of those with victories.

Lets pump the brakes until we get to 10-2 or 11-1 thats when you know you are "BACK". Not going 8-4 against mostly cupcakes.

We have some good players but not the best, YET.

Context bruh. Context.

Oklahoma and Alabama are most likely gonna meet for the national title. And we outplayed one for 3 and a half quarters while the other needed a last minute 4th quarter drive to beat us.

A few less injuries and few 4th down breaks and it's us in Atlanta next week ranked in the top 4 for a chance at the playoffs. We weren't far off this year with tons of bad luck. We should be loads better next year.

Playoffs are not a fantasy. They are real expectations.

Clemson will crush OU just like they did last year.

Apparently South Carolina is gonna interview Richt also

Not sure how he could achieve more there than at UGA if championships are South Carolina's goal. He couldn't win the SEC in a decade at UGA with much better players than he would have at South Carolina.

Richt to SC makes sense. Holtz went there to retire, Spurrier went there to retire, Richt could be next at USCe pre retirement for football coaches.

REALITY. That's the world I live in. WE are 8-4, with ONE win against a "Decent" Georgia team. WE LOST 4 GAMES. ALMOST only works in Horse shoes and hand grenades. Every team has bad luck, ours just comes in the form of a prevent offense.

Once again, are you watching the same games as I am?? A loss is a Loss, no other way to look at it. Now, I like to be optimistic as the other guy, but you also have to keep your feet on the ground, and not in the clouds because we barely beat several cupcakes that we should have DESTROYED.

We will be better next year, but until you get "BACK" with wins, you really aren't back yet.

He could be a thorn in Georgia's side in recruiting. You always set out to win championships, but it's still South Carolina. Even Spurrier couldn't win the SEC there.

Yes, we watched the same games you did and simply have a different view. Some people just can't be happy after 7 straight mediocre seasons. Go watch a Dooley game.

Citrus Bowl would be awesome for this team. Outback is great too. Back to back Jan. games in Florida is such a sign of progress for our program.

Unfortunately my leave request for New Years got denied today, so I'll be watching any Florida bowl games from work.

Dude I put my blood, sweat, and tears on that hill for 4, long years. Seen the best you could possibly see and have also been in TEARS. Don't tell me about the Dooley years, that clown wouldn't even let us have access to the facilities.

I'm just being realistic about expectations. People on here get all excited about 8 wins and thats a great sign due to the dooley years. But we are TENNESSEE, and should temper that happy feeling until we actually beat somebody and get to 9, 10, 11 WINS consistently. Those glory days are coming again my friend. Just wait for it.

He's better than Muschamp.

Remember those times when we didn't beat vandy? Or the times we didn't beat mizzou, or that time
We lost to Kentucky? And when South Carolina was also beating us? Bama blew us away, Florida stomped us, Georgia too. Oh wait everyone in the sec.... Yeah tell me more about how we aren't back.

We don't get excited because we have 8 wins, we get excited because we had 5, then we had 7 and now we have 8, possibly 9. G*****n right we're excited because we are FINALLY on the way back up after being at the bottom.

Good for you and for working hard. I was at UT during one of the great runs. But I don't temper being happy. I prefer being happy rather than negative. The last few years realize you can appreciate good seasons. I am happy now and hope to be even happier next year. I agree that they are coming.

SIAP: Eason is taking an official visit to UF. They are losing their minds on the UGA boards. Also, Pruitt is apparently a deity to them now. Some are calling for him to be made HC.

I'm not really wanting to get into the discussion, but this doesn't seem consistent to me. A loss is a loss, but a win isn't a win?

If he flips, that would be a catastrophe for their QB situation.

Citrus will pass UF for Tennessee. You bring very little city revenue to Orlando. Very little event revenue and coming off the blowout this Saturday, in front of a sold out Bama crowd will give a good view of floridas sad fanbase.

I guarantee because of the tentative home and home with UM the city won't burn that bridge with UF. It's been discussed at length on UF sites already. The Mayor has already started backing UF. Better get your Outback tix.

That's a terrible matchup for UF. I know Michigan struggled against OSU, but they'll shut out UF.
