Anybody think Miles bolts from LSU given the opportunity? Given the recent shenanigans with their AD and boosters I'd say he'd be more than willing to listen to other offers. I know I wouldn't show an ounce of loyalty to a group that tried to strong-arm me out the door.

And leave 11-15 million on the table? Doubtful.

Thing with Dobbs is he'll put up gaudy numbers if he and his receivers are more consistent next year. A healthy P.Williams could develop into the Alpha WR. Malone has grown and unlike a few in here I think he will develop into a very good WR for us. I just hope North can stay healthy. Croom being back will be big. Josh Smith will be grow as well too. Also the Perry kid is explosive too. Just need the guys to stay healthy. They can be extremely productive.

Agreed. I will add that I think our staff needs to look at injury problems. The last couple of seasons, we've had MASSIVE amounts of injuries. Just a ton. Some injuries are bad luck and unavoidable. However, some ARE avoidable with proper strength training, stretching, rest, etc.

I'll be honest. Deerpark's 0% chance on field turf comment has me a little down this morning only because I don't see them figuring out this grass. Hopefully I'm wrong.

It's really an easy fix.

Probably the best grass guy in the south east works with my brother. He is the guy who fixed the Bucs field at Raymond James. He went to auburn to learn their technique and process forhow they grow their grass in sections with thicker roots and implemented it and Ray J is beautiful. They play college games on Saturday and Bucs games on Sunday's and have no issues. And they get tons more rain than anywhere in the country
It's all about getting a guy with the knowledge and know how to implement the plan.

Herman threw that out for more leverage and to keep his name hot for next year. You want your name listed in high profile jobs to make other high profile jobs say well UGA wanted him then we should too. Gamesmanship. Agents at work. Hermans preference is TX area or stay West where his connections are. TX and Tx AM are the ones he really wants. Sumlin would have to leave for AM one though.

This. People astound me every off season with how willingly they believe everything that they hear about coaches have interest in jobs.

It really is simple. Find a guy with a proven track record and hire him.

I honestly feel if PWilly and especially North can get healthy next year, and we don't continue to rotate 37 receivers each game, Malone won't have many opportunities next year. He's just not productive and wildly inconsistent at best. I haven't seen him turn any corner or grow at all like some here claim to. He's just had more targets due to injuries and dismissals to other players. He still drops a lot of easy passes, doesn't fight for the ball at all, and gets pushed around by physical DBs. Catching one deep ball against maybe the worst defense we played all year doesn't mean he has finally turned some corner. He's a soft player, and that just doesn't work in this conference.

He wasn't soft against Alabama

Head coaching is a totally different job than coordinating. That's why Helton and Smart are bad hire imo

I really like Helton, but USC could have gotten anybody they wanted. It's questionable, but I think it will workout for them.

I would love it Georgia hired Smart. I hope he brings Muschamp with him.

Has anybody seen the recent tweets by @FeelsLike98 regarding players leaving? That's a bit concerning. Someone gave him a list of North, Kamara, Kendrick, Reeves-Maybin, and Sutton. And FL98 replied and said that 3 of those guys were gone from what he had heard.

If Azzani is let go and Butch brings in a more complete WR coach, then all the receivers could turn their game around. They all know how to block better than running routes, shed DB's and catching. Major upgrade needed for the WR's.

South Carolina fans already switching their allegiance to Lincoln Riley. Not sure how well he would do in the SEC with far less talent than he has on offense at OU. If Maggitt doesn't get hurt OU probably doesn't score 10 points in that game.
