my favorite also. I like when we pull a guard and I like seeing Thomas downfield blocking. our best running plays by far.

Thomas is a really athletic center. He doesn't have the gut the a lot of lineman do but he's still an extremely large human being.

Not denying that at all, we have played great lately and things are looking up. Just need to see us win the east or at least beat FL and/or Bama next year before I'm completely sold on Butch.

You don't have to be completely sold to see the positives though and be excitied. I'm not completely sold on him either. Hell, I don't think anyone is but to my point, what I AM excited for is to take advantage of the turmoil going on and raid Georgia like we're General Sherman.

I've calmed down a lot on Butch. I was 100% onboard with him before the season, hated his guts after Arkansas, and am about 85-90% back after the 6 out of 7 win streak to end the season.

His lack of a killer instinct in games worries me, and I'm afraid he will continue to have it until he gets over the hump and feels like he has actually proven something/himself as an elite SEC coach.

Which means we need a dominating win over either UF or Bama next year to the point where it isn't even close in the 4th and they have no shot of coming back.

I think that's a possibility vs UF, but the streak always finds ways to stay alive year after year, so who knows.

This is me ^. Butch is close. Just do it when we should verses a couple of opponents and I'm 100%.

I agree with you. Although I will say, since the Arkansas game, Butch has seemed to be more aggressive and the team has responded. I don't know if seeing it blow up in his face in back to back to back games caused him to see the light or if he came to that on his own...its hard to explain, but I have seen a different Butch since then.
