Coaches leaving the Tennessee program

As many as half the staff could change over this off season

Isnt this the case every year with nearly every major program; "half the coaches ""could"" or ""may"" leave?

Some pushed to find other jobs; some take better positions; some make lateral moves for various reasons.

Larry which do we fall in this off season?
My guess is IF we have more than a couple changes it will be a mix of all three.

Our Grad Assistant/QB Coach has to leave or get a regular hire.

Who gets credit for Oline improvement: Mahoney or DeBord? If DeBord, he could take over Oline and we could bring in a QB Coach such as ... wait for it...Peyton to Coach QBs. lol

Azzani: not qualified to judge that one. Was it injuries, suspensions and dismissals, Dobbs accuracy or technique that drove the lack of consistency and big play ability??? Yes to at least three of those reasons.

Bonus Round: will we lose a Janzek, Stripling or Gillespie to another team?

Don't forget that Azzani has really coached up kick returns.

I say this thread is the winner for our 2015 season?

Thig and Azzanni are 2 of our best recruiters.

Losing 1 or both of them will hurt our recruiting bad.

We need to pay and keep our best recruiters no matter what.

Some on here hate Azzanni for some reason but totally fail to see that about 1/2 of our WR corps has been injured most of the season and Pig was kicked off the team too.

They never consider that our O line doesn't pass block very well and can't hold their blocks long enough.

They never consider that Dobbs isn't as consistent as he needs to become and he doesn't throw a good long ball at all.

All our passing game problems are totally on Azzanni, LMAO!

Be careful what you wish for, we might get a new WR coach that can't recruit worth crap and our program heads downhill again.

Without great recruiting we'll never get back to the top of the mountain and college football has always been about great recruiting.

Any idiot that doubts that needs to take a close look at alaBubba and nick saTan.

#BrickbyBrick...VFL...GBO!!!

We can bring in recruiters, they are a dime a dozen. We need a WR Coach that can actually improve WR play. And something de1conley posted weeks ago there are a few receivers threatening to leave if CZA is retained. CZA and Martinez are 2 upgrades we need to make. Bring Terry Fair back to coach the secondary and go get Tee or another top level WR coach and recruiter.

We need to upgrade at a few positions..WR and Secondary coaching is at the top of that list..IMO? Do you agree? And a true QB Coach would be great too. Let Debord handle the OLine full time, get rid of Mahoney then there is room to hire one.

Im sure that we will have some interest in our coaches...will someone leave....maybe....no reason to worry about it because it is out of our hands. Here is to hoping that we have the best staff in place for next season!!

I sure hope the U.S. Olympics gymnastics team steals DeBord.

Why? I thought that, on balance, he did a nice job this year. I'm not a big fan of Jones' offense in general, but it's hard to argue with 34 ppg, 422 ypg and the second leading rushing team in the conference IMHO.

The only thing that scares me about that is that Butch will be making the hires.

At this stage, it would not surprise me if Butch hired some PE teachers from Mount Pleasant, MI saying they were overlooked diamonds in the rough and would constitute the new BSiA.

If Butch went out there and made some fantastic hires with Hart opening the checkbook, I could sit back all off-season in glorious anticipation of a return to the Decade of Dominance.

And what in the past makes you think he'll do that? It appears, from this and earlier posts, that you've got some sort of axe to grind with Butch and/or the coaching staff. Why? Constant, steady improvement not enough for you?

Wish we could hire new fans to replace some of you dumbazzes!
