I thought Volnationdom was the craziest...nope. But maybe they see years of steady decline ahead, and want to just get out ahead of it. Maybe a very prescient move in the long run. Be interesting to watch.
You think you'll be right because Dobbs may get drafted? Tebow got drafted too. You won't know for a while. You are wrong though and your orange glasses are blinding you. He had what 19 yards passing against a couple NFL corners down in Gainesville. He had 80 last week? I mean an NFL qb can make throws on the run and 30 yard out routes etc. They can also hit the deep ball consistently. Dobbs just throws it up and hopes for the best on the deep ball. Fact is you're the only one saying how great a passer he is. It's obvious if you step back and really evaluate him. Doesn't mean we don't love him though and hope he leads us to a title.
Dobbs with a stronger arm than ole Baker because he has bigger hands. Now I've heard it all.
Hand size correlates to throwing power. Do you even follow the draft? Its always one of the most discussed measurements with regard to QBs. And it typically correlates with height. Taller guys usually have bigger hands. There are outliers like Russell Wilson that have large hands eventhough they are short. One of the main reasons for his success as an NFL QB eventhough he's 5'10". However, most of the time the taller player has the bigger hands.
Bigger hands allow for easier manipulation of the football. It allows a QB with big hands to throw with more velocity and have easier grip in inclement weather. Definitely one of the most desired attributes for a pro prospect.
