I don't know what his draft status looked like a few weeks ago, but I think his South Carolina game got him paid. Foreman gets the praise (deservedly so) for his good game on Cooper and the game-sealing forced fumble, but Owen Williams was probably the best player on the field in that one. He looked every bit like an NFL prospect.

He has been pretty solid for most of the year, but here lately he's been very disruptive.

I'm thinking he may get drafted in the later rounds.

all year recruiting has seemed very stale, for a myriad of very legitimate reasons (low numbers, intense focus on the season, etc).

but.... this week i've developed a serious case of the feels. I think once the season is over the recruiting trail gets hot.

Doug Mathews has said 19 signees is the limit not counting blue shirts.

Without a number of decommits it can't explode much since we already have 17 on board

Disagree. I can hardly recall that at all. Gruden, Strong, Muschamp, Peterson, a little Patterson.... But I can't recall anyone calling for Smart

Agree. There were very few posters, if any at all, that were calling for Smart. This board, regardless of their feelings of how legitimate they thought the rumors were, was nearly unanimous on Gruden.

Admittedly, I wanted Strong as a very very distant second. Butch seemed like a compromise...glad I'm not in charge.

While I'm not 100% sold on Butch, especially considering some of the close losses earlier this year, I like the direction we're heading.

Now, go beat the hell out of Vandy and win a bowl game.

Chris Low reported that he was South Carolina's top choice, but Herman wasn't interested. He also said many of the jobs don't fit Herman's background and he is likely to stay at Houston for now.

Just can't see Miles going to S. Carolina. Doesn't seem like a fit there. Can't really explain it.

Georgia would be bad. Would really hurt our recruiting. Bad scenario.

Kinda feel like he may take some time off.
