I don't agree that they are all worthy of acquitting Seybold of fault here. I fully believe there has been significant mistakes made from Seybold. The biggest is his failure to overcome the use that jones has demanded. He hasn't maintained the turf thru that use well enough.

I am just saying there is blame to go around on all parties not just the one sided story that JimmyH put out here.

I never said jones was forcing the kids to wear a shoe of any kind. That's ludicrous

I am done posting here about it unless there are more legit reports that either confirm or refute the "story" I was told

This was a post of you're in the football forum where you said that players weren't allowed to wear 1/2 cleats even if they wanted to.

Please, don't act like your behavior on here has been level headed or balanced. You've argument has basically been "Look, I'm not saying this is the case, but I heard that Butch is sabotaging the field, risking the health of student-athletes, and putting the team's chance of losing in jeopardy because he wants field turf. And it hasn't been confirmed that this ISN'T true!"

I left it in because I didn't want to be disingenuous.

The point still stands. You DID say that thing that you claimed was ludicrous and you never said. Even if you did backtrack once Travis Stephens told you you had no idea what you were talking about.

Any conspiracy that suggests Butch intentionally used the shorter cleat to undermine the groundskeeper at risk of player safety, team disadvantage, and wins is asinine and instantly devalues anything else in that story. I think that's where your report lost everyone, Bruin.

Stephens supported my post by saying the molded cleats shouldn't be worn in wet conditions.

I edited just like I said when I clarified the info.

So many times this info was stated as tifwiw

If you think it's not worth considering them please stop responding

I didn't post that. Completely false. If the post above that was quoted suggested that surely the edit cleared that up.

My post saying the kids aren't allowed to wear the cleat they want was saying that cleat doesn't exist not they were told they couldn't wear it. They want to wear the molded cleat and that cleat doesn't exist with a longer cleat(1/2). That was what my post meant not that butch want allowing to wear it . That's why I edited it

Haha...one certainty on Volnation...if you come into a thread after only being off for a short period of time and there are tons of posts to catch up on, either big news has broken or Bruin is involved in one of his "discussions".

I'm responding because it's utterly baffling that you're trying to twist the info that Stephens and Deerpark brought into that thread as "supporting" your TIFWIW bs. Have you ever heard of confirmation bias? Because it's the perfect example of what you did with their posts. You're claiming that they backed up your stories and giving almost no weight to the other parts of their posts that go against things you were saying.

The cleat thing is easy

Stephens said molded cleats shouldn't be worn in wet conditions

Deerpark said the players preferred, had, and some are still wearing the molded cleat. Only now have the players started to switch over to a completely different shoe.

Unless you are calling Stephens or deer wrong my "story" about the cleats is spot on.

Pretty simple

Ah, now I see. Thanks for the clarification.

All this confirms my story and in no way contradicts my earlier point. Also, I never said that I feel like I'm taking crazy pills. That would be ludicrous. TIFWIW, btw. This is just what I heard.
