I was miserable during the game, then Kamara iced it with that early fourth quarter TD and I got over it. Mizzou and Vandy will be 4 quarter dog fights but it's all good. I'm going to enjoy these final few weeks of the season, especially since we are already bowl eligible.

What makes it miserable is going from barely losing to OU and FL, then beating GA and then out played Bama, and then arguably playing the worst game under Butch against the worst team in FBS. The lack of consistency is so frustrating.

I'm used to it and almost expect it. It's Fulmer ball all over again. We had 3rd and Chavis. Now we have 4th and Jancek.

Good news is that at least we know we can play with the big boys now.

I hope and believe they got their emotions out this week and come back down to earth next week.

Getting on a field in good condition will do wonders for our offense. But I still expect a dog fight. Mizzou is playing for Pinkle and bowl eligibility. Plus they've beaten us three years in a row and probably think they own us. It will be a battle.

The bad field conditions need to be fixed and fast. Other teams will start to use that against us in recruiting. Having the announcers talk about it so much duing the broadcast should be an embarrasment to the whole University. Championship teams don't play a pitiful fields like Neyland has become. They need to announce a plan for next year, fire people whatever to stop the bad publicity. </rant>

That's what I'm hoping too. I don't like an emotional team fighting for their coach and bowl eligibility. Makes for a very dangerous team.

What are you going to do? Tell the guy who funded the majority of your football program to kick rocks?

Tough question for sure but IMO there should be a firm policy in place that coaching boxes are for the coaching staff only.

What happens when he decides to say "let's go for it"?

Bad all around in my view

He shouldn't be there period but Oregon put themselves in that position by becoming beholden to a single donor.

While the offense looked like bored tax accountants out there, the defense did pitch a shutout.

You guys did see that, right?

Before you say it's North Texas, no one else on their schedule has done that.

The offense, though, should have been able to name the score.

3 teams we have played have a good chance at being in the CFB playoffs.

Florida
Bama
Oklahoma

We are at a severe disadvantage in the SEC East having to play Bama every year. Not to mention always playing playoff worthy OOC games too.

I'm all for scheduling great OOC games but when you play Bama too, it just really takes its toll especially late in the season.

Our team checking out Mizzou's grass be like...

Thank goodness I didn't have to pay for tickets to the game today. It was just not entertaining at all and the field was noticeably chewed up midway through the first---really needs to be addressed.

Highlight of the day was my 3 year old yelling GBO when the team ran through the T. It was his first time seeing it.
