I'm not wishing for anything yet. I'm still vetting candidates. However I have much respect for him not being bought like every other candidate. And my god people freak out about socialism. Basically screams I only care about myself when they do. Society is selfish these days and I just wasn't raised to be that way.

And no I'm not completely in favor of one political ideology above all others. There are merits to many ideologies.

Ok then give me half of your money. I need it more than you do.

Average for campaign managers is up to about 100k a year bro. They worked for his campaigns I believe. They were underpaid most likely. Am I incorrect here? The numbers seem a little high, but if you break it down it's not more than 30k a year. It was their job to work on the campaign. That's not a huge wage for full time work at all. Nice try, though.

Not being like other infamous posters on here - but I posted this before the attacks in Paris.

People better buck up and take the fight to these azzhats.

They are most definitely Satan's tool. Satan's chief desire is to erode human life, after all it was made in God's image. I hate this evil.

See? You have acted like a selfish person. Proving my point.

No, I proved my point you only want to be socialist when it benefits you. You are angry at the 1% and want what you haven't worked hard enough to get, when in reality you are in the top 1% in the world just by having the opportunity to live in this country. Socialism doesn't work, it drives those that make the money away then the billionaires and millionaires become less and less. There is no incentive to make more of yourself because it is just taken away and given to those that think they deserve it for living here.

BasketVols snuck out a win tonight. It looked like they were gonna drop the ball... literally.

The thing that scares me is, no matter the number of terrorists you kill, the ideology will live on. They could be living anywhere. Right under your nose.

It goes all the way back to Abraham. It's an ancient fight and it will outlive all of us. As long as the Jews occupy the holy land these people will be killing for their cause. And as long as we have a presence in the Middle East and play big brother to their enemies, they will bring it to our doorstep.Whether we believe or don't believe in God, all of us are lumped into one category according to these extremists. Jew, Catholic, Christian, Atheist it's all the same. These random acts are scary, but just think, Iran has nukes. Thats horrifying. We need a God fearing president who makes an effort to clean up the terrorist threat from the Muslim community here on our soil. We always hear about politicians who want to send the illegal Mexicans home, lol they' believe in Jesus, they're Catholics who do the jobs we don't want, they want to drink some beer, and save enough money to go retire in Mexico. There are groups of war refugees from the Middle East living in Bowling Green KY, our back yard brought here by Obama and given a home and govt assistance to live here with us. And makes it harder for us to arm ourselves. We can't have another Terrorist sympathizer in office.

They're headed here, or more likely, they've been here for a while.

Shudder to think what will happen if/when they decide to pull something off here given the way we don't seem ready for it at all.

What country is actually ready for it? This terrorist war is fought in the shadows. The terrorist cells are all around the world. Nobody is ready for it. No matter how long we or other countries bomb the Middle East, these psycho coward terrorists are not going to stop. Pretty damn scary..

A whole lot of assumption in your post, and I said none of it. Pretty sad to see such judgmental behavior for something and someone you know nothing about.

Regardless it's pretty clear Bernie won't get in anyway. It's going to be Hillary.

Right. We're doomed no matter who gets elected. I only said I respect the fact that Bernie isn't bought like other candidates. I've never said I believe he is the answer at all. I even stated I'm still vetting all candidates because I'm not a party voter. People filled in a lot of blanks on their own from vague general statements. Lol

You are right, no country is. And as easy as it would be, I don't think its a reason to start wild NSA programs, or kick in doors anytime somebody thinks their neighbor is a little shady.

And I'm not advocating another massive war in Syria/Iraq (at least one in which we again tie one hand behind our backs and try to win some ridiculous "clean" war).

Do I think our government is ready? Not really, no. When it's leader makes a 5 minute statement and AGAIN seems rushed to get to his point of "I don't want to speculate on who did this" and this morning called ISIS "contained"...it concerns me as to how they actually view this whole problem. That's a politician problem, though.

But my main point was the general population isn't ready. The vast majority of people barely have any clue what's going on around them in general past who won on The Voice or what their fantasy team did last Sunday...much less consider what might potentially happen in a situation like this.

Hell, I'll have one eye peeled all day at the game tomorrow, yet I'll be the one that people think is a little too paranoid...

I'm basically in the same place as you right now. It's funny to me when I see people generalize and over-simplify with the whole "insert political party here is evil and anyone who agrees with them is stupid" thing. Things aren't nearly as black and white as that.

This fits with most of what I've read. I was born in '80. As such, I don't feel like I fit in with the generation ahead of me or before me. Yet, I also identify with both to a degree.

The young ones are always complaining about how the older ones squandered the opportunities and resources they had. The older ones are talking about how entitled and whiny the younger ones seem.

I agree with both, but not as strongly as either group claims.

Also born in 1980. I also don't feel I belong with either generation. I identify more with our grandparents generation. Work hard and care for your family. The rest can kiss it if they don't like it. God, family, country.

We definitely don't need another war there. I wish the surrounding countries of Syria and Iraq would invade and put an end to Isis and Al Qaeda . Why does it have to be America to go to war? Those countries combined have enough military and around 5 million more military personnel that could overcome the so called 25,000 Isis whacko's. We need to get the hell out of the Middle East in a big way. I don't think Obama or the next elected President can really figure out how to defend this type of war. This terrorist war is an ideology war and a really extreme effed up one. With terrorist cells all over the world. They'll kill as many innocent people as possible for the belief of their God. Complete insanity. How do you stop that? Our defense is looking for Internet chatter that could be in code to try to figure out why the Paris attack happened and the next one coming. It's going to take a long time to figure that out. Big uphill battle.

You're right, the general public is not ready and how are we supposed to be? 9/11 was our wake up call and 15 years later we've become a little lax again. That's how terrorism works. They hit when you least expect it. Smart to keep an eye peeled tomorrow. It's unfortunate, but that's how the world is spinning these days.

Jjays post is indicative of a sickness afflicting so many across several generations. Moral ambiguity. They choose to see the world in shades of gray. No real wrong or right, good or evil. No black or white..just gray.

It's time to put the fear of God in those bastards. Take the war to their ****ty desert and show them what a B1 bomber looks like.

Quite a reach here. Where did I say there is no right or wrong? I thought this was a political discussion and not you trying to analyze how I view the world. My point is that no one party is all good or all bad. This "us against them" mentality in politics has so effectively and evenly divided the country it almost seems to be intentional.

That hasn't been working for a very long time. The more we bomb them, the more they want to attack America. Let the other countries near by bomb them.

Before you send B1s you would want to evacuate all our guys 1st. Scorched earth

It's not about our guys being there. Bombing them all these years hasn't stopped them. And no nobody will nuke them. This war is completely different from the way centuries of wars have been fought. Scorching the earth there won't stop it. No telling what the answer is to win this..

Yea, sigh, I know we can't nuke em, but Trump's wall is starting to sound pretty damn good to me.
