Scholarship should be in jeopardy. No matter if their cause is just or not. It won't because that will cause more racial tension. This will only hurt these players when they get into the real world. So sick of this crap. I'd be very curious to hear the other side.

Maybe the situation is worse than we realize. Most on here have just assumed they are overreacting. It seems that we have a bunch of white folks who cannot possibly relate to the situation telling some black kids they should just shutup and be thankful they weren't born in the 50s.

What does any of that have to do with my post?

If they refuse to participate in football activities, revoke their scholarships. Let them pay for their tuition and then we'll see how dear this cause is to them. I'm sure there are plenty of guys that would be very appreciative of a free ride in college in exchange for playing a game.

Or perhaps they really are just overreacting to stupid stuff college students do and getting butthurt that Thomas Jefferson's statue isn't bring removed and their college population Is fairly analogous to the population of the United states as a whole. Perhaps they are the ones causing the racial tension.

I'm trying to find where I said that. One can cause racial tension without oppression. If I didn't know better, I would say you're putting words in my mouth without knowing anything about my ethnicity.

Am I to believe this players don't use the same word(s) amongst themselves?

They are upset over planned parenthood. The school discontinuing services with them. So they are upset the school is stopping the services of a company that's principal purpose was to control the population of black folks??

You guys realize that abortions are less than 10% of the services that Planned Parenthood performs, right? It's overwhelmingly used as a site for women's health. Hell, the Planned Parenthood in Knoxville doesn't even perform any abortions; that's up to the reproductive health center on campus.

The issue I have with this type of demand is that the protesters aren't just wanting the resignation of the President - they would want a say in his successor.

Also, if it was obvious that the President was fostering a racist climate, why are only the black players boycotting?

They also want an apology from him. If I'm resigning, I'm going out middle fingers up and in a blaze lol. I'm not apologizing for anything. This group is full of sophomoric morons
