Patrick Towles is not a good qb and he was throwing against a defense that was playing really well. Kentucky defense was trash. Poor comparison.

It's pretty obvious that Dobbs has his share of wtf moments as a passer. I don't know what you're trying to prove with this schtick. Nobody is saying they don't want him as aqb on this team. Just that he doesn't set the world on fire throwing the ball.

Still think he's related to Dobbs lol

Did you all know TN vs SC has only had 1 game since 2000 that has been more than a one possession game in Knoxville?

The 2009 game was an 18pt TN win. Every other game even back in 2001 and 2003 when we were a great team still and in 2011 and 2013 when they were great and we stunk.

That makes me nervous.

We will win by at least 3 TDs.

This will be another exception year. These boys are ready to continue rolling.

When did he say that? When Fils-Aime committed he said the coaches told him there would be only one.

He has said it several times. The local guys have talked about it in the media and I heard CBJ say it at an event this fall. We lost Bruce, so we're already down one from this class.

I don't think Bruce was considered a running back. Did Butch say it BEFORE Fils-Aime committed? If you know that it's been said "several times" I won't call you a liar, but TBH Butch hasn't brought up much of his recruiting strategy in the past...at least numbers wise.

CBJ has said we need-- and plan-- to take two RBs in the 2016 class. We're going to need them, since we'll likely lose both Hurd and Kamara next year.

I've never heard/read that anywhere. All recruiting chatter, offers (recent offers are especially good indicators), coach speak, articles, etc. that I've ever heard/read suggest one back for '16. Maybe you've gotten mixed up with the '17 class where I've seen it suggested that we may take as many as 3 rb's.

This was Titans plan all along to draft Mariota and fire Wiz so Chip Kelly would come. Duh guys.

Titans be like...

That makes me nervous.

I was saying after the Bama game, that this game makes me the most anxious simply because they are the most talented team left. However, we are rolling offensively now, and we should win by close to the spread.

USCjr's message board, Cockytalk, has devolved into a dumpster fire. Most of their fans are predicting a loss on Saturday, and some are predicting a blowout loss. There is a lot of self-deprecation, and frustration over how they're going to get their "faces rubbed in the dirt" by the Vols for yet another year.

A fake Twitter account posted that Arian Foster was suspended indefinitely for trying to join ISIS.

There are necks out there that believe this and are freaking out on Twitter. Found my afternoon entertainment.

It ain't just one here or there. I wish that was all it was. He gets in these hot and cold streaks, almost every single game. And the difference is dramatic. Sometimes almost an entire half, you are seeing him miss one throw after another and wondering how in the hell is he a D1 QB. But then when he snaps out of it, he looks pretty darn good. Just really frustrating, cause this team would have at least 3 more wins under it's belt if he was fairly consistent.

Like I said. Watch more football games. Because what you said is ridiculous.

Now tell me who in the SEC does? If you're comparing Dobbs to Peyton Manning then sure he's not in his league as a passer. But I'm just wondering who are all these great passers he doesn't compare to?

I watch alot of football every Saturday not just the Vols and I really don't see what separates Dobbs AS A PASSER from any of his peers. Dak is really the only one who is a class above.

That is why I find these criticisms troubling. Its almost as if being better than his peers ain't good enough. You guys are judging him on a standard of PERFECTION. Hate to break it to yall but no one is perfect. Dobbs will continue to miss throws just like every other QB.

What makes him GREAT is he'll make a lot more good plays than bad.

Amen. I think most if us are just trying to make the point that this O is not a bad one for WRs when it is executed properly. Dobbs deficiencies as a passer make it appear that way sometimes. If the Wr does his job, and the QB does his consistently. WRs should put a lot of numbers up like Malone did last game. Bad passes and dropped passes completely stall this Offense when the Defense is selling out to stop the run. That us why I said DC are pinning their hopes on Dobbs deficiencies as a passer. He gets it better...this team will set records...the good kind.

Let's say we go 9-4 this year and win 10+ next year.

Does Dobbs become the third-most popular modern-era Vol just behind Peyton Manning and Eric Berry?
