The Official NASCAR Talk Thread

Time for Gordon and his team to put all the research into the Homestead car.

Happy for him. He'll get a chance that he should have had last year.

It looked like Tennessee scored a touchdown in Neyland, when Logano was taken out. The fans were outrageous.

This was the first thing that popped in my head when that happened!

Kenseth should be disciplined by NASCAR, probably even parked.
NASCAR shouldn't be involved at all. They should let the drivers work it out just like the old days. Logano didn't even look that upset. He knew he deserved it and had it coming. It wasn't like Matt took him out at a real high speed track. NASCAR should tell Logano that maybe he should think twice before taking else somebody out. Paybacks can be rough.

How many years will his name have to be on the ticker during races before people can spell Logano correctly?

As for the wreck, meh, **** happens.

With everything being said, Logano had it coming. But he still has two races left to win, and he's fully capable of winning one of the two.

I noticed something interesting during the first incident with Brad and again with Joey. The Penske suspension parts are made super light. Not very durable at all.

....how?

Kenseth was the slower car at Kansas.

When you block a faster driver in NASCAR, you get dumped for it. And the argument that he didn't need the win is equally insane. ....they're not racing for charity. They still get paid whether they've qualified or not.

It's not just the event at Kansas. It was a buildup.

The statement was made...Joey will have a difficult time winning the Championship. That being said Kenseth has it out of his system but he's definetly not over it. Old school

Penske is rumored to be going back to sportscar racing next year in the IMSA Weathertech series with a DP effort. No word yet if it will be a full-time program or just for the endurance events.
