Isn't JG real tight with Davis? Maybe having JG in his ear during his visit might be enough to persuade Davis to come to Tennessee?

Hopefully with get Davis on Friday. Don't think we have much of a chance with Brown from ppl close to Brown. But this is recruiting and anything can change/happen.

Alright here's what I know. If anyone remembers, I posted back before the season started that KD was recruiting for us. I heard that he committed to UT during a visit sometime towards the end of the summer and would remain a silent until he was ready. Davis told the auburn coaches something similar during a visit in September, that's the surge I was alluding to a couple weeks ago. CBJ and crew rolled out the carpet for KD during the UT/UGA visit and he told at least 1 assistant that he would be committing to Tennessee in two weeks. This is likely why Fort reported that Tennessee led. Kyle has since went silent and but depending on which family member you ask, he's going here or there. Dad wants him at Tennessee. Mother wants him at Georgia. Kyle himself is very tight with Auburns wr coach.

I will say that whatever happens Friday, this is far from over even if he chooses Tennessee. He is very wishy washy and I really hope our fans do not show their asses on twitter if he doesn't pick us. The biggest thing is that Tennessee needs to finish strong and hopefully AU and UGA continue to look like hot garbage on offense the rest of the season. I will never ever count Butch Jones out on a recruit that he desperately wants after seeing the job he did on Richmond and Phillips last year. :hi:
