I feel sorry for Dobbs. He carried team on his shoulders and does not deserve loss. Actually whole team don't deserve this loss besides the coaches.

Josh says we can't obviously do the same thing in the 2nd half as we did in the 1st half.

Here is an interesting, seemingly uncomfortable/uneasy/not-fluid post-mission press conference:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-RcKLAo62Ro

"some of the things we observed, on the spot (of the moon), which may not (gulp) be obvious to those of you, who are, who are looking at them (gulp) here from the surthif, surface of the earth."

I love Dobbs -- it's unfortunate we're still struggling with OL/blocking/WR's getting open/passing (running 3 straight for whatever reason / clock managment) issues after last year.

Why not let the rocket scientist call the plays on offense?
Turn him loose and receivers to make plays...

GO VOLS!

I like Dobbs. I great athlete and an even better person. Glad he chose UT as his school for higher learning.

I will say this one thing that does concern me about him going forward: Three (3) fumbles and one (1) lost, which lead to a Florida touchdown. I do hope he works on ball security going forward.

Dobbs is a brilliant young young. He acts and sounds like a well prepared press secretary instead of a college athletic. He is the type of person that can do something that can make the world a better place. One word describes that pc, outstanding.

Josh Dobbs is turning out be to Tennessee what Munchie Legaux was for Butch at Cincinnati. "Munchie Legaux was a dual threat Junior QB that could not complete a pass for his life and made terrible decisions. He had games where he would be 5-16 with 2 INTs in the first half and Butch didn't make the change." I don't think Butch is letting Dobbs throw down field because of the same issue he had with Munchie Legaux.

If I was Dobbs, in the fourth qtr, when they called the play from the sideline I would then say "Ok here is what we are really gonna do"! I seriously doubt he would be benched for that!

Butch doesn't like to be shown up or questioned. I doubt it would have ended well for Dobbs, but I'll be dogged if I wouldn't have loved him for it.

The modern day equivalent of Tauren Poole vs Kiffy. Love that guy for it.

Dobbs inability to consistently throw an accurate football has severely handi capped Deboards offense. Dormady needs to get a look, because if we can't generate some kind of passing game we will be lucky to win 6 games. There was a reason Justin worley was the starting quarterback to begin last season, and the reason was Dobbs is not very good at throwing the football.

Things on this board would be a lot different today if Josh didn't fumble the ball which let Florida back into the game or miss a wide open receiver on the left sideline that would have been a touchdown. People keep griping about not going downfield but Josh hasn't shown he can complete one when he's been give the opportunity.

Sadly the defense actually held them to a FG after the turnover.... Until they changed their mind and converted a 4th down.

We are blessed to have him here. On and off the field.

Dobbs, Dormady or Peyton Manning wouldn't have time to throw completions behind our O line and to a WR corps that can't get decent separation.

4* and 5* guys are high school greats but they hit college, and especially the SEC, and now they become average and can't get open enough for a QB to have confidence in getting a completion instead of a INT that will make the QB look bad and be spoken of like it's all his fault.

For many reasons we have a decent run game and that's serious improvement over past years.

For many reasons we can't pass block long enough, WR's can't get decent separation and we basically don't have a passing game worth crap.

I'd like to see quick slants, hitting our TE's much more often and get any type of passing game going.

The recievers are getting open, Dobbs is slow to make decisions when he actually gets the chance to throw down field, and is inaccurate when he does finally throw it. He missed Josh Smith on the sideline, and smith didn't have anyone within 5 yards of him. I like Dobbs ability to run, but it seems like most people on here would rather blame everything else but Dobbs for the struggles of the passing game. Dormady needs some snaps against Arkansas.

Thats my observation. Its not as much on line or wr or debord as its dobbs continually missing wide open wrs.whether dormandy can handle it or not who knows but debords offense looks better with him in it . secondly how pod would our run game be when defenses have to respect pass and can't load the box. Common sense to me. Its very disturbing all the elite wr and they're not touching the ball. I'd be pissed if I was wr cause u know when recruited coaches didn't say ohhh u will block 90 percent of game maybe 1 to 2 catches a game.just ridiculous this offense is more unbalanced than last year. Find the horizontal pass game again....u know how many bubble screens has he thrown in the dirt....I love dobbs but come on

How do you down a guy that just led his team in passing, receiving, and rushing? And that behind one of the weakest offensive lines in the country. He has about two seconds to unload the ball on a pass play. Also is playing for the worst OC in the country. Debord will be gone before the end of the season. Mark it down.
