The meltdown that is happening on the Vandy message boards

Peay might be the worst FCS Program in the country. I knew they would act like that. Their program is so dead that i knew they would spin that game into something for the future against the SEC. Anybody seen MTSU and Houston this yr? They are no joke either. Lets see what they say after getting beat by 40 next week in Oxford.

40? Ole miss didn't take the foot off the gas in their games against UT Martin and Fresno St, they sure won't do it against an SEC team. Bama got 37 on Ole Miss but I doubt Vandy will score, and I doubt Freeze will miss the chance to get 10 tds on an SEC opponent.

pretty sure they just lost TE Deandre Woods for the year again. He was becoming prob their second most dangerous receiving threat. Brutal for a team with basically no offensive talent anyways. WR Rayford got hurt too but not sure the extent. Injuries all over the place this year in CFB. Webb is averaging 3.3 YPC and only averaged about 3 YPC vs Austin Peay. Gonna be tough sledding for him this year.

I know a puppy in a box of kittens is the bad azz, but calling that kid dangerous is a bit of a stretch haha.

i mean for Vanderbilt he is. They dont have much and im aware of that as ive stated on here 1000 times. For what they have he was becoming one of their more dangerous threats. Doesnt mean he would be for anybody else in the league but for Vandys talent situation he was becoming pretty productive. Nice try.

the thread on them wanting a new stadium is a pretty entertaining read. They think they'll get a new stadium even though they cant even fill the one they got halfway with their fans.

Oh yea I gotcha, didn't mean to come across like an insult. I just try and take every chance to hate on Vandy haha.

Maybe a new stadium is a good idea for them. 275 seats. They'll get a sellout every week.

I love the "Simple Yes or No" thread. I've not seen spinning of stats like that in a long time.

And the answer to his #4 question, yes, everyone left still should scare you. At SC in honestly the only game I think they could win and if there is any game Spurrier won't lose, it's that one.

Biltmore's response is probably the dumbest thing I have ever infered from one of their posts.

Well, for the most part, they all have played APSU type teams and beaten up on them.
Did you see who Ole Mis played before Bama?

this was in response to other teams putting up bigger numbers than Vandy did vs Appy. I am inferring from his post that he thinks that after that Appy win they can expect to play with the big boys because Ole Miss beat bama after playing week competition. (weak competition that would manhandle vandy)

commodoredave1 gets it, from the same thread. A great read btw.

We aren't the only ones to lose to a WKU or Toledo, but WE ARE THE ONLY POWER 5 TO NOT ONLY ACCEPT THE LOSS, BUT POINT TO IT AS A SIGN OF IMPROVEMENT.

i saw a guy on their site saying that they are a good team bc the betting line has gone down to 24.5 in some places lol......he said " we may not win this trap game but we are not a bad team. The line is down to 24.5" hahahahaha wtf? So thats where they are right now. If the betting line goes under 25 then they claim a moral victory.

the Franklin thread over there is gold, absolute gold. They are hating on Penn State for losing to Temple, not being able to move the ball, and only beating crappy teams. and yet that is exactly where vandy is, if not worse.

They talk about mythical donors and "big bucks" caring about the football program. Vandy may have some rich alumni, but those people couldn't care less about football. Mason will win 1 or 2 games this year but point to defensive improvements, get another year, win 3 or 4 in 2016, get another year, and continue winning that many games for as long as he wants to be the head coach at Vandy.

He's a Stanford guy who runs a clean program, and that's good enough for Williams and Zeppos.

Exactly. Plus some of those posters must be those "big bucks" donors because some of them keep raving about how it's "obvious" they've improved.

What's funny is the thread about being out of step. DonYates' post is basically making all the arguments against Franklin that have been made for the last 3 years here; that's hilarious on so many levels considering before Franklin left if anyone had said that he would have broken into hives and banned the user.
